I have no personal knowledge how the Niarchos family feels,no one does, but I have lived in Europe and I know that it is next to impossible to dis-inherit a child in any of the EU countries.

Even out of wedlock children are entitled by Law to inherit from their parents, they CANNOT be written out of a will.

The Niarchos family could hold back a portion of the wealth but, ultimately, they will have to give it to Stavros - with interest.
The last I heard,his personal share stands at $243 million.

As one who has lived in Europe, I can tell you that the attitude, culture and expectations are so much higher than in the US. I don't mean that as a disparaging remark, but ... it is what it is.
