chihuahuas can become very territorial and aggressive toward people who come near their owners, so it's easily understandable that she had become too much to handle during public outings. i think i remember watching a season of the simple life, and when paris brought the kids from one family to her house she said something like "be careful with tinkerbell, she's mean." once that aggression habit starts, it's hard to stop it. so just calm down people, tinkerbell is at home and fine.
