I have a difficult time believing Patrick is thinking of Ellen P. (Didn't know anyone could read other people's minds). However, I think, from other photos I've seen, that Jillian is like: nag, nag, nag, yak, yak, yak. Maybe Patrick just tunes out and that's why he looks the way he does, in his own world.

Or, it may not be that way at all. Maybe Patrick is just more interested in his kid that Jillian is. Lots of parents put their kids first, not the relationship.

While I won't bet they'll break up this year, I think within five years they'll be apart.

I know if I were hounded by photographers I would not look happy either especially if I was the one who was not as famous. To me this picture says that Patrick is just trying to support his family and wishes that photographers would not ruin it and his fans would not wish bad things for him. Hopefully they will prove everyone wrong and stay together and end up in Maine like Patrick wants.
