What you have all neglected to notice in the top photo is that Bono's ring finger is bare while he has a ring on his pinky finger. It seems strange that a man that wears rings would not have a wedding ring! There is also other photos of Bono and Penelope leaving a night club holding hands. You really have to start suspending belief if you think this is just a friendship!
