As we all learned from Mean Girls, "frenemies" are enemies who act like friends and "fraitors" are friends who secretly hate you. Of course, this kind of drama doesn't just exist in movies - it's very much present in young Hollywood!

For our first example, look at Lindsay Lohan (star of MG) and her BFF Samantha Ronson. But has Sam always been a good influence on Linds? At least she's helping LiLo with her new album now... our favorite rehabber doesn't need anymore toxic people in her life!

Speaking of which, there's Brandon Davis - ya know, the one who launched the "firecrotch" tirade against the 21-year-old starlet. Heiress Paris Hilton used to be best buddies with this dude, but we're glad that's over with because Paris is better off without him!

And don't forget about the Brits! Rocker Pete Doherty has certainly influenced - at least to some degree - the hard-partying ways of ex Kate Moss and pal Amy Winehouse. Think these gals are better off on their own?

Finally, there's our beloved reality stars. With the return of The Hills, we can definitely expect to see more Lauren/Heidi/Spencer drama... but what's real and what's fake?

Guess that's the point - sometimes, you never can tell!

When celebs take a vacation in the City of Lights, they usually stay at ritzy places like the Plaza Athenee or the King George IV - unless, of course, they're Pete Doherty!

Apparently, the Babyshambles frontman's staying at a Holiday Inn - we caught him coming out yesterday afternoon for a walk and a drink.

Of course, with all the money he's saving, he's got plenty of discretionary cash - perhaps that's why we caught Pete perusing a porn store's wares!

Pete Doherty gets a lot of scorn for his ongoing battles with addiction - but you certainly can't say he's not a personable fellow!

Yesterday, for instance, we caught him at the Gare du Nord station in Paris as he waited for the next Eurostar train to London.

Watch how friendly Pete is with his fans - he stands around forever politely chitchatting and signing autographs for anyone who asks!

Hopefully Pete gets his act together soon - after all, there's nothing his real fans would rather see!

I guess it was only a matter of time before two of Britain's most infamous addicts met up - The Daily Mail is reporting that Amy Winehouse receieved a visit from Kate Moss' ex Pete Doherty at 4am Tuesday morning. And that's not all - while Amy was moving out of the house she shared with incarcerated hubby Blake and into a new place Monday night, she was photographed with a large baggie of "white powder" amongst her things in the trunk of her car. Pete was seen leaving her house later that morning with some white stuff all over his pants. Hey, maybe he was just helping her spackle!

After all the fuss he'd made over his tour of dry venues, we were more than a little shocked to see Pete Doherty drinking and smoking up a storm at the press conference for Shotter's Nation, his latest album with Babyshambles. (Not that he was the only one partaking, of course - wait'll you see how hard his bandmates pound those brews!) Of course, to hear Pete tell it, he's actually making great strides as he attempts to free himself from the spell of heroin and crack - in his own words, "Heroin and crack are wack, but weed and booze is much better!" Well, at least he's half-right!

Aww - we caught Pete Doherty giving his new girlfriend Irina Lazareanu a quick kiss outside the Sers hotel. Hey, they don't call Paris the most romantic city in the world* for nothin'!

Pete Doherty turned up in Paris recently - but more importantly, he showed up cleaner and soberer than we've seen him in years! The troubled troubadour was in town with new girlfriend Irina Lazareanu (who we spotted hand-in-hand with Doherty the next day) to promote Shotter's Nation, his most recent album with Babyshambles. No word on whether Pete's Parisian venues agreed to the same drink-and-drug-free guidelines as the ones on his recent UK tour (a provision he insisted upon to aid himself in gradually weaning himself off drugs and drink) - but from the way the troubled rocker mingled with his fans, it looks to us like he's been keeping his nose clean!

...Each other, at least. Supermodel Kate Moss may still be gorgeous, but she's not still hung up on her former flame, rocker Pete Doherty, Us Weekly is reporting. Sources say that after Doherty called Moss a "nasty old rag" - among other things! - in an interview with The Daily Mirror, Kate burst into a "screaming rant" upon finding out. And now, she "just wants to forget him." Think she can? The on-and-off couple has had their troubles in the past, but this may be the last straw. Aww, in a weird way they seem perfect for each other!

Kate's still following Dohboy around Europe, this time in Paris, where the supermodel mom enjoyed a rowdy evening at a Babyshambles show and then a quiet lunch with friends the next day at Brasserie Lipp. Just a thought here, when Kate's not listening to deafeningly horrible music or wining and dining, does she ever actually play the role of mom and spend time with her daughter?
