Raise someone's taxes and they will just raise the prices or prices of their services of whatever they do for a living and pass it on down .
If someone works very hard for a living to get ahead, they should not have someone else "steal" it to give it to someone else. Just because some people make wise choices in life and get rewarded for it out of hard work, does not mean they should give it to those who made bad choices.

In the last few weeks Obama has told us that he wouldn't raise taxes on any family with a combined income of under $250,000 a year. Last week he dropped that number to $200,000... But then, the other day Joe Biden said the number was $150,000! On top of that, He plans on letting the Bush tax cuts expire, which will raise taxes on EVERYONE making more than $50,000 a year. Obama is also promising us about $800 BILLION dollars in new Government spending! How does he plan on paying for it without raising taxes on the middle class? The fact is, everyone who actually works for a living is going to see their taxes go up... a lot!
Obama is a firm believer in the Marxist ideal of "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs". He has said that even though it's been proven that tax cuts bring more revenue into the Government, he would raise taxes on the "wealthy" to make things more "Fair". I don't think I've ever seen anything about it being the job of Government to make things "Fair" in the Constitution.
Have you ever noticed that Socialists aren't interested in bringing the poor up, but tearing the wealthy down? It seems to me that they want everyone to be equally poor and dependent on the Government.
Speaking of "Fair", most Democrats and a few moronic, left-leaning Republicans support an idea called the "Fairness Doctrine". The "Fairness doctrine" would force radio stations to broadcast an hour of opposing viewpoints for every hour of Conservative viewpoints aired. Since most radio stations are in the business of making a profit, and Liberal talk radio, like "Air America" has been a dismal failure, it is assumed that most stations would shift away from Conservative talk formats. This would essentially kill Conservative talk radio in this country. Of course, the "Fairness Doctrine" would not affect TV and print media. Liberals would continue to hold their monopoly on those. The obvious goal is to shut down the most effective source of information for people who wish to hear both sides of an issue. Obama's new Government wouldn't want you "Listening to the wrong talk radio programs", so he is going to fix that for you. We can't have any subversive thinking going on out there! I've recently asked a number of people who support Barrack Obama why they want him to win. What I get are mindless platitudes about "Hope" and "Change", or because it's time for a black President or because he's a Democrat or because Bush sucks or just that they think he is the best person for the job. One person even told me that maybe it's time we try Socialism. (We've been "trying" Socialism since FDR. I believe that all of the major problems that this country has can be laid at the feet of Socialism, from the recent collapse of the housing market to the coming collapse of the Social Security system. From our failing education system, to the problems we have with health care in this country! Socialism is what got us here! The last thing we need is MORE Socialism!) But, when I ask WHY they think he is the best person for the job, they can't tell me. Then, when I ask what they think about his associations with Tony Rezko, Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, A.C.O.R.N., the Socialist New Party, what they think about the massive tax increases he will impose, the $800 billion in new spending he is proposing, his opinion of the Constitution, or the fact that he refuses to release his birth certificate, and all I get are blank stares. Most of them have never heard about any of these things.
I guess I'm not really that surprised though. The supposed "Main Stream Media" is so in the tank for Obama, you would think that he's the second coming of Christ. If you look at the covers of any of the magazines that he's been on recently, you would certainly think so. If those outlets are the only places you get your news, you are only getting one side of the story. The side that THEY want you to hear.
The fact is, there are far more reasons to vote against Obama than there are to vote for him. But you will never hear about them unless you go looking for them.

On Friday, the American Conservative Union, filed a formal Ethics Complaint with the United States Senate against Senator Barack Obama.

The complaint pointed out accurately that just months after Senator Obama purchased what is known as the “Greenwood Mansion” and the land surrounding it along with the wife of now-convicted felon Tony Rezko. That’s right. The Rezkos toured the property with the Obamas before the purchase. They helped Obama with the purchase through buying the land right next to the house, the House’s lawn. He bought it from the same seller on the same day. The Obamas used the side yard as if it were theirs and eventually returned the Rezko's favor by buying back a strip of the side yard.

Yes, it is bad enough that in addition to other characters from his past, Senator Barack Obama has associated himself with a convicted felon.

What is worse is that the U.S. Senate requires all gifts to be disclosed. However, Senator Obama not only did not disclose the use of this property as a gift on his required financial disclosure reports, he has continued to fail to do so even after this story came out. Now the question remains, did he violate the same Gift Rules and bans that recently caused another Senator to be convicted? The ACU believes so.

What was Obama’s reply? His staff said, “he didn't get special treatment.” However press reports have stated Obama paid about $1.6 million for the home – $300,000 below the original price with the land included.

Now, as these facts have come to light, the Senate Ethics Committee, a committee led in part by liberal Senator Barbara Boxer of California, is stalling. The Senate Ethics Committee stated it would not discuss its deliberations and that it was under no obligation to look into the matter.

Kenyans Pray for Obama Win

People across Kenya are praying for Barack Obama, making sacrificial offerings for the Democratic presidential candidate many consider a native son.

One prominent preacher says his church is engaged in "spiritual warfare" to ensure Obama is victorious.

Bishop Washington Ogonyo Ngede, a Pentecostal leader who met Obama during his 2006 visit to his father's village, Kogelo, said a prayer before Obama spoke and "laid hands upon" the Senator, who he believes is anointed by God for victory in the election, Fox News reports.

Ngede's church has 1,400 branches throughout East Africa and claims a membership of 250,000 people.

Other religious figures in Kenya have also pulled for an Obama win.

At Kit Mikayi, a sacrificial rock shrine, about a dozen people have visited on Obama’s behalf, according to Jennifer Okot, an elderly villager who lives near the shrine.

“Customarily, those seeking large blessings sacrifice a goat by swinging it by its legs so that its head and neck are bludgeoned against a large rock in a naturally occurring enclosure between two massive boulders that serves as the shrine's sanctuary,” according to Fox News.
