Remember the poster for Legally Blonde (waaay back in the day) where Reese's legs looked like something straight off of a Barbie doll? Well, she's still got 'em!

Earlier this morning, Reese Witherspoon called the police and defended a photographer after he was attacked by another lensman, and it looks like she was still feeling pretty good when we snapped her shopping at Feature boutique in Brentwood later in the day.

Though Reese wouldn't comment on any possible engagement to longtime beau Jake Gyllenhaal (or her possible baby bump? C'mon, it totally looks like there's something there!) she flashed photogs a smile as she exited the upscale store. Gotta love it!

Before Reese called the police to defend a photographer in an unprovoked attack, she was jogging along San Vicente Blvd. with a friend.

When one photographer suddenly became enraged and ran up to another photographer's car, attacking him through the window, Reese called the cops. She was done jogging but stuck around in her car to wait for the police. When they arrived, she told the whole story to the cops, defending the innocent pap.

We knew she was a good jogger, but who knew she was such a good samaritan, too?

Reese Witherspoon went to the police today to defend an innocent photographer after she witnessed a fight between two paps (not ours) in Brentwood while on a jog this morning with a friend.

Around 9 am, Reese was running on San Vicente Blvd., when one photographer attacked another right in front of her.

"One guy got enraged when he thought the other photographer had moved in on his story, so he jumped him," says an X17online photog on the scene. "Reese was pretty much done jogging so she got into her car, and pulled up to a police vehicle. She rolled down her window to talk to the cop, told the police she witnessed the attack, and that the pap who was jumped was innocent!"

There were no major injuries in the fight, thank goodness, but it's nice to know that Reese went out of her way to defend the innocent!

We haven't spotted Reese Witherspoon out and about much lately, but that's probably because the Type A actress has been keeping busy, with a new film, Rule #1, and a new fragrance, Bloom by Avon!

The scent, which Reese said the new scent "is truly indicative of where I am in my life today - I'm feeling very strong and independent, and so happy."

Hmmm, I guess it's possible to feel "independent" while in a relationship, but is this admission indicative that all is not well in Gyllenspoon-land?

She kept tight-lipped when we asked her about him (maybe a little too tight -- that's not a good look on you, Reese!), but then again, she always does!

Is it possible that Jake Gyllenhaal FINALLY put a ring on it?!

We got super excited when we snapped Reese Witherspoon with a bauble on her left ring finger yesterday afternoon, but this isn't the first time we've spotted her wearing it! While this certainly doesn't look like your typical Hollywood engagement ring, why would Reese stick it on her ring finger and totally flaunt it? Maybe she's just dreaming about it?

We'd love to see Reese with a sizable rock on her finger, and it looks like she's got marriage on the brain as well. Think she's trying to send Jakeypoo a message by rolling around town flashing this ring? Like maaaaybe she wants a larger, more sparkly diamond on that finger?

No, seriously - what's up with her arm? Thankfully the rest of Reese looks okay!

Ms. Witherspoon, decked out in grey from head to toe, stopped by Whole Foods in Westwood on Wednesday to pick up some groceries, and we can't help but notice the suspicious-looking mark on her right arm. Hopefully she just banged herself somehow and will have a speedy recovery!

Okay, she's probably NOT preggers, but I'm just saying!

When we snapped Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal leaving the Hollywood Bowl after the Ray LaMontagne, Jenny Lewis, and Blitzen Trapper concerts, the Oscar-winner was toting a beer in her hand and her hunky boyfriend on her other arm. However, as soon as the cute couple spotted photogs, they got a bit grumpy! Reese scolded them from the car window, while Jake made a bunch of silly faces and hand gestures in an effort to shoo them away...

Girl, please.

My, my! What's got these two lovebirds in such an uncharacteristically pleasant mood? Is it because they just had an amazing spinning class, or is it because they're going to go home and have an even more amazing uh, cardio sesh?

P.S. Every time we snap Reese in her gym clothes we always think of the following movie line: "Exercise releases endorphins, endorphins make you happy, happy people don't kill their husbands. They just don't." 10 points if you can name the flick...after the jump!

The funny blonde was again spotted in Beverly Hills in yet another adorable dress. So adorable! Plus she's still smiling. Hmm, wonder why Reese is in such a good mood... maybe Jake FINALLY proposed!

She's never looked more perfect! The hair, the dress, the smile... A-plus, girl!

Ms. Witherspoon got her hair done at the Neil George Salon in the BH Tuesday afternoon and came out looking like a million bucks! Sometimes she's not in the mood to chat, but Reese was all smiles yesterday. I think she knew how fantastic she looked in that dress (it's just right for her figure) and wanted to show off! Loves it.

This is the second day in a row we've snapped Reese Witherspoon running errands in Brentwood looking totally cute and trendy! The Oscar winner rocked yet another high waisted skirt ensemble, and we don't know who's been picking out her clothes, but keep up the good work!

Reese Witherspoon is back from filming in D.C. and where did we spot her? Shopping in B-wood, of course! Can't wait to see her in another rom-com. I actually liked Four Christmases!

She's just in character! The petite Oscar-winner is shooting a movie with director James L. Brooks in Washington D.C. right now - working title is How Do You Know? and her co-stars include Jack Nicholson, Owen Wilson and Paul Rudd. Damn, can Reese hold her own around all those men?

Of course she can! Reese lights up every movie. Sidebar - Wilson plays a pro-baseball pitcher in this. Maybe that's why Reese was practicing her b-ball skills these last coupla weeks?
