The NY Daily News reports that new papa Ricky Martin won't be getting the Brangelina-level payday for pics of his twins...

Why? "We don't think he is going to tell the backstory, so the whole thing just seems kind of icky," says one editor.

A photo of the singer and his babies (delivered via an unnamed surrogate) might run in a magazine, but definitely not on the cover.

"When someone seems like they are hiding something, it's a big turnoff to the public," claims another editor.

True that! Not that Martin doesn't deserve his privacy, of course, but if he's gonna be on the cover of a mag, we'd wanna know the real story behind him and his new twins!

Ricky Martin is livin' a new "vida loca" - this time as the father of twins! The Associated Press confirms that the hunky Latin singer/bootyshaker had the children via a surrogate mother, and the babies were born a few weeks ago.

His reps released the following statement:

"The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky's full-time care. Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children."

Congrats to the new DILF! He's definitely going to have his hands full!
