Last night Rihanna made an appearance at Best Buy in NYC to promote her new album, Rated R, but she left her risque outfits at the door for the event. Rihanna smiled for photographers and signed dozens of albums for her fans, and she also posed and chatted with a little girl who has leukemia. Awww, looks like this good girl gone bad has gone back to the other side!

I never thought I'd call tight leather leggings conservative, but compared to Rihanna's risque outfit at the AMAs last night, this getup is pretty tame!

We spotted the R&B diva dining at Giorgio Baldi before she took the stage at the AMAs, and even though she was totally emotionless, we know she was super excited to slip into that skanky sexy bandage-inspired bodysuit for her performance of "The Wait Is Over."

For her first award show red carpet appearance since "the incident", Rihanna donned a black & white Marchesa gown with laser cut-outs and aside from the white shoes, the fashion risk-taker looks pretty good!

We're loving the drape of the skirt, showing off her toned legs in hot-pants, but the reason this look really works is because Ri-Ri is working it!

Last night we photographed Rihanna arriving at LAX, and she looked thrilled to be setting foot on west coast soil. Hey, if I had a sweet Hollywood Hills bachelorette pad to call home, I'd be pretty happy about it too! Though she was followed by dozens of photographers, Rihanna kept her cool as she walked through the terminal.

Rihanna officially has the most random taste in men! Or does she? Her new rumored beau sure looks a lot like her last one...from the baby face to the clean-cut style, we're totally experiencing deja vu here!

According to the NY Daily News, the latest love interest for the R&B princess is none other than 90210 star Tristan Wilds. Tristan was an unexpected guest at recent party at Rihanna's LA mansion, and a source tells NYDN, "No one knew why Tristan was there initially, because it was not an industry party - it was very intimate. But everyone quickly realized they weren't meeting for the first time, because they were openly affectionate for everyone to see."

The source added Rihanna and Tristan (Trianna!) were introduced by a mutual friend/music producer, and they hit it off from the moment they met. "He's a real gentleman," the source continues. "She likes him a lot, and it shows. From the moment he walked into her party, Rihanna lit up."

Even though Rihanna is going on tour, the source seems to think the hot hookup will last. "They'll keep in touch while she's away. They're already planning to use iChat and Skype to stay in contact until Tristan finishes shooting 90210 for the season and can fly out to meet her on the road."

It should be interesting to see if this lasts, but what has us even more curious is Tristan's bromance with Rihanna's ex Chris Brown! On Sunday, Chris tweeted that he was "so tired," to which Tristan responded, "Keep grinding, kid. All we can do." Hmm, should Rihanna's new love be tweeting to her former flame?

Rihanna is an international super-star so big, that she needs a military escort when she travels!

Well, maybe it was just a coincidence that this French army babe was at the Gare du Nord when Rihanna arrived, but if that's real fur she's wearing, she might actually want some additional security!

Rihanna's first single, Russian Roulette, is currently at the number 9 spot on the Billboard hot 100s chart, and the video will debut tonight on 20/20.

Both Rihanna and Chris Brown are promoting their upcoming albums (Rated R and Graffiti, respectively), and will debut music videos on the same day.

Chris will be debuting the video for his single, aptly named Crawl on The Wendy Williams show Friday, while Rihanna's Russian Roulette will debut on 20/20 later that night.

Last week on the same day both singers discussed the incident in February which led to Brown being convicted of assault, Rihanna again on 20/20 and Brown on MTV.

So is this synergy just coincidence? Both have discussed how hard it was to let the other go, and with Chris unable to contact Rihanna due to the terms of his sentencing, is this just the only way he can feel connected to her?

Listen, I love Rihanna. I find her very fascinating, I dig her music, I respect her for coming forward and giving that 20/20 interview, I generally like what she wears and she's gorgeous, blah blah blah. However, I am NOT a fan of her blonde John Travolta Swordfish-inspired hairdo, so you can imagine my delight when I saw these pics of the aforementioned hair hidden under a leather newsboy cap.

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if she peroxided the sides of her head and made more of an effort to touch up her roots, but it's time to go back to black, brown or burgundy ... just please get rid of the blonde!

Seriously, this is the happiest I've seen Rihanna in... well, a long time! Let's not mention "the incident." Go girl!

The singer sat down with Alexa Chung for her MTV show in NYC yesterday to talk about her upcoming album and such. But all I can focus on is that beaming smile!

Rihanna attended the 2009 Glamour Magazine Women of the Year honors at Carnegie Hall in NYC, and we caught the R&B princess in not one, but two stunning dresses last night. The first frock appeared to be inspired by Angelina Jolie's super sexy beige Cannes number, but the second one?

Ahh, I just can't decide whether or not I like it! I love the color, the material and the fit, but the top half of the dress is a little bit awkward ... not to mention the fact that she totally gave us a peek at her boobie! Whoops!

The cover for Rihanna's new single "Wait Your Turn" has hit the web, and rather than rocking a risque outfit, Rihanna skips the whole shirt thing altogether. Sexy yes, but is she using her body to sell this song, or her voice?

Last night Rihanna made a surprise appearance at Jay-Z's concert at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion, and she performed her part in "Run This Town" to an audience of screaming fans, including famous faces like Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel and Jamie Foxx.

Rihanna sounds great, she looks great (we'll pretend she doesn't have that atrosh blond 'do) and we're thrilled that she's moving forward with her life and kicking ass with her career.

As her interview with Diane Sawyer was airing on 20/20, Rihanna partied the night away with her pals!

We caught the R&B songstress leaving a friend's house in Hollywood, and later we spotted her out and about, hitting the clubs in this Victoria Beckham-esque outfit. Yes, this is the second night in a row she's stolen a look straight from the Posh one, and while we like it on her, we really wish she'd do something about that hair!

So back to the interview ... what did you guys think about what Rihanna had to say? Should she have spoken out sooner? Does it bother anyone that this is all so strategically timed with the release of her new album?

We already heard some of what Rihanna told Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America yesterday morning, and now here are even more details from the night of her horrific beating and how she's handled the trauma over the past 9 months.

On Chris' mood on the night of the attack, Rihanna said, "It wasn't the same person that says I love you. It was not those... eyes. He had ... no soul in his eyes. Just blank ...He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked at him ... All I kept thinking all the time: When is it going to stop? When it is going to stop?"

Rihanna tells Diane she saw a text from another woman and that was how the confrontation began. "I caught him in a lie. And he wouldn't tell the truth ... I was being more annoyed at that point in our relationship he had to lie about something so stupid. I couldn't take that he kept lying to me. And he couldn't take that I wouldn't drop it. And ... it was ugly."

Diane asks Rihanna if it was true that her mouth filled up with blood at one point and she nodded. "I was bleeding. I was swollen in my face," she said. "So there was no way of me getting home, except for, my next option was to get out of the car and walk. Start walking in a gown, in a bloody face. So I really don't know what my plan was. I didn't have a plan. That whole night was not part of my plan."

Rihanna said that she still cares about Chris and that she wants him to have a good life and a successful career, but she points out that he had some serious anger issues that needed to be dealt with. "Initially you start thinking, what could I have possibly have said to make him hit me? Eventually you're like, you know ... stop. Stop. Stop. Ask yourself. There's nothing you can do or say to make somebody do that to you," she said. "That's on them. And ... I just knew he had a problem. I knew he had a problem. He had a temper. He needed to get some help. And ... and he did."

After the incident, Rihanna did reunite with Chris, but she says she never forgave him. "I just said to him, 'I can't do this.' I resented him. I resented him so much. And I always put the tough face on and try to, I can do anything face, and just try to play it off. But he knew. He knew it. He kept asking me, 'You hate me, don't you? You hate me,'" she told Diane. "And I would lie and I would say, 'No, no. And ... I did hate him. ... Everything about him annoyed me. So finally ... I just said, we can't ... we can't do this. I cannot continue to do this."

On the leaked police photo which shows her brutally battered face, Rihanna said, "Who likes seeing their face like that? ...I feel humiliated. I get angry, all over again, every time I see it. The whole thing plays back in my head. So I don't like to see it."

Rihanna continued, "I don't have a desire at all to be with him ... I can't see how we ... would get back together, but I'm also not God and I can't predict the future ... I knew I had to do this in order to move on for me and in order for my fans to move on with me because it would always be a question in their mind," she said. "I don't want that five years from now every time they see Rihanna, they think of Chris Brown beating me. That's not who I am. It's just one thing that happened to me."

We're glad she's speaking out about this, but do you think she should have done this sooner?

Last night Rihanna headed to Guys & Dolls in a decidedly Posh-inspired outfit, but we're more interested in who she was hanging out with! We're hearing that Ri was kicking it with none other than Gym Class Heroes singer Travis McCoy - BFF Katy Perry's ex-boyfriend! Though we've heard reports that the two have been spotted together over the past week, isn't this just a wee bit awkward? I mean the two must be "just friends," but if I were Katy, I would definitely sit Rihanna down for a chat!

Rihanna arrived at the club at 1:10am, and she was escorted through the hotspot straight to her VIP table in the middle of the room, where she sipped on champagne with her entourage.

A source inside the club tells X17online exclusively:

"She was loving the music the DJ was playing, and she danced in her seat and on the couch to a bunch of Jay-Z songs. The DJ also played a couple of her own songs and she had a huge smile on her face and her friends were dancing up a storm. After all the Chris Brown drama this past year, it was great to see her moving on and looking so happy!"

After Rihanna left the club, it seems like she had a case of the munchies, as she had her driver stop by MacDonalds. Her bodyguards tried in vain to block shots of the R&B starlet, which makes us wonder...what were they trying to hide? Is Rihanna afraid that she'll have her picture snapped with Travis? Or does Katy not care?
