i agree. there is something to be said for the fact that she did not speak about her album ONCE during the interview. she should not have spoken sooner if she was not ready, and it makes SENSE that it collides with her album release: as soon as she is ready to make her artistic expression known, that no doubt has something to do with what happened, she is also ready to speak. duh.

Obviously since Rihanna has to promote her album she would be getting asked about this everywhere she goes. I think it was smart of her to take control first and tell her story. She really had no choice.

Her album was mentioned in the beginning of the interview PAY ATTENTION! There is something to be said for speaking up YES...but 9 mths later?
