Rihanna Releases A Statement, But We Still Have Questions...

Rihanna Rihanna090108_02.jpg It's been nearly two weeks since 19-year-old Chris Brown allegedly beat Rihanna so bad she ended up in the hospital, and media and fans alike have been wondering when someone from Rihanna's camp would release a statement about the incident.

Well, Rihanna's spokesperson has FINALLY made a comment about the alleged assault, and while we know this is an incredibly difficult, private matter, we have the same amount of questions that we did this time last week.

A rep for the singer tells Radar Online:

"At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time."

Is this really even a statement at all?

we still don't know what happened between them to spark breezy off on her. can't believe he did that.. but until they say am not going to drag him thru the streets tied to a chevvy as most ppl have done.

Very misleading title. She doesn't tell us anything. I think she is scared to talk. Chris Brown probably made threats to her. He is a low life and I hope he gets what he deserves.

I can't believe there are STILL people on this site using the excuse of "we don't know what happened"!!!! did you SEE the picture of Rihanna's face? Chris Brown was not beaten like that during this argument. Period. Let's even say she hit him first. Did he need to BEAT HER ASS DOWN in self defense??!! NO! There is NO excuse for the brutal assault he inflicted on her. Think about it. What it that was your sister? or your mother? Rihanna did nothing to deserve those bumps and bruises. I hope Chris Brown's career is over and he gets what he deserves. Jay-Z, GET HIM!!!!!

I think anything Rihanna or Chris Brown say will contaminate their image, so the less the say the better off they are. The story actually started to cool off until TMZ exploited the picture...don't forget it makes $$$ for places like TMZ, the longer you visit their site the more their advertisers pay, all at the expense of people's worst moments. Shame, shame!

This reminds me of Dr Drew's Rehab show, where Jeff and his GF beat the crap out of each other while loaded on drugs...people do stupid things under the influence

Xcuse me... have u seen the video evidence of JayZ the ahole smacking some woman across the face.. ?? No .. suggest u look into that. He is a Fricking hypocrite if he is saying anything about CB. CB knew his mother was in abusive r.ships and spoke about it.. he needs help and I fricken hope he gets it. he is 19yrs old and talented and no... I don't want him beat down but get help. Rhia is 21yrs old and it was crap what happened to her... and hope she gets the support she needs and do what she needs to do for herself. If she presses charges.. so be it. He has to take it like a man. So don't be bigging up JayZ cuz he is an abusive man.

Shame on TMZ for releasing her image and violating her privacy. Celeb or not, as much as celebs get away with so much.. they deserve privacy in times like this too. Unless Rhia gave the ok for that.. which i doubt.

starfish, where can i see the video of jayz hitting a woman? are you for real?

Posted by: starfish

Seriously Claudia.. am not kidding.. let me find it and will send a link.. one mo.

i43dottinypicdotcomforwardslash2nndqc.jpg

just won't let me post a link

Posted by: starfish

will try again... there is a longer video out there. just do a search.. hiphopblogs also have it..

Posted by: Claudia

WOAH! WTF?!?!?!?! Wow, starfish. I can't believe I never heard about this. I gotta give that to you. You were right. Damn, what's with these so-called "men" hitting women?? I wish no one would resort to violence..... =/

Posted by: starfish

Yeah I know. It's crap and some ppl were saying that he had hit Beyonce.. but I don't think so.. at least hope not. mediatakeout usually has the scoop. Some men do it as learned behavious; CB I know watched his mother get hit by her ex bfs. He stated many times he was angry that he could do nothing about it and that he would never hit a woman. My issue was only Rhia and CB know what happened.. and now her privacy was violated so we can all see what CB did.. I hope Rhia [whatever she does] that she emerges stronger and tries to forgive such a weak man.

Keep holding your head up high. This tragedy is your business only and no one else's. You don't need to say anything to the public. You do not answer to them. Stay strong. You will get through this.

Regardless of the picture people should tell wait until all the facts come out in court. I'm not condoning any woman being abused; however people should remember that there are two sides to a story. Also, Ray Charles could see that something is definitely off about this whole situation.

Reguardless of whether or not he hit her; she hit him it is never okay to beat up on another human being. Guy on guy, girl on girl and everything in between. What does it solve? Chris Brown should really get help and issue a better statement!
