Rihanna's Dad Speaks Out About His Daughter, Chris Brown

Rihanna Rihanna121808_02_X.jpg Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, has spoken out about his daughter's condition, as well as her estranged boyfriend Chris Brown.

Fenty tells Us Weekly, "She’s doing OK. She has support from both sides of the family, and I think she’ll come out and represent women and be a heroine. In the end, she’ll speak out."

Fenty added that he didn't see his daughter yesterday, contrary to other internet reports, and he would not comment on Rihanna's whereabouts. Despite stories that Chris is in Virginia, our sources tell us (and it's been reported elsewhere) that Chris is still here in LA keeping a low profile.

Regarding Chris, Fenty had this to say: "I was really shocked because he’s such a talented person. He’s a little immature, yeah. I hope he learned his lesson and that this will never happen to another women."

We hope Rihanna gives him the boot, and releases a statement sometime soon!

When do you think that will happen? More people are starting to talk to the media, so hopefully by the end of next week we'll have more answers!

rihanna is a goddes! and all white women are jealous of her.

Rihanna has more important things on her mind than making a statement to the tabloids and gossip sites. X17 has been so heartless during this entire situation.

Posted by: Anonymous

does that mean that half of her family on her dad's side is jealous of her since her dad is mixed-5:30- you r an idiot!!!

Posted by: Prezes

"He’s a little immature" - I'm sorry, but if some guy hurt my sisters, I'm sure that my dad would kill him...or, at least, beat him so badly, so he couldn't move and/or speak. Her father is rather calm...Wierd...

Do black people think it's just a simple mistake for a black man to physically beat a women? It sure seems that way from all the black people's statements regarding this horrific attack. If I'm wrong please let me know.
A concerned white woman.

I don't like Rihanna but she didn't deserve that. X17 eat dog shit and quit hating on Chris, you idiots never made a mistake right? He who has never sinned let him cast the first stone,so says the Bible, even if that is not the exact quote.

Ehm, if I was her Dad, I would have Jay-Z's reaction, I'd wanna kill Chris Brown.

Beating a woman is not immaturity, as man of all ages beat women, it's right out dangerous and criminal behaviour.

I know that if someone touched a woman in my family, I'd take them apart. No one has the right to put a hand on a woman in anger!

Rihanna's dad's quote "... he learned his lesson and that this will never happen to another women."

it should be another womAn.

singular, x17

7:02 the key word is he hoped and Rihanna's father threatening Chris Brown in the press will only help the press and people who can not mind their own business.

Posted by: Anonymous

Her dad says "I hoped he learned a lesson" hell no! If it was my daughter that would have been beaten, the statement would have went more like this "Chris seems to be coming out of his coma, my hope is that he will able to speak again someday, by the way, the doctors say he will be able to walk again within the next 2-4 years."

thanks to d person who wrote d cotation 4m d bibl. dat was comon sense, n if al of us could tak it lik dat, we wil see dat its jst a human mistak. lovs 2 chris n am very very sory 4 riri. hop she is getin gud. though i dnt realy lik her, she doesnt deserv dis. no 1 doz.

7:06, I don't care what the statement was-I'm just correcting the grammar. "Another women" doesn't make sense. It's "another woman."

The media wants this blown up as big as it can so they earn money off it. Guess Jen is done with you advertising her phony showmance. Now it's off to use others.

Typical thug behavior, glamorizing ghetto culture why are we surprised ?

Regarding Chris, Fenty had this to say: "I was really shocked because he’s such a talented person.

WTF?! DUMBASS!

Yeah I guess talented people aren't abusers, druggies, murderers, whatever they are perfect little angels because they are "talented"!

Yeah I notice how u didn't post the article where he said that she has 'some bruising' and not horrific injuries...how about u stop posting bullshit till we get some facts, cause as of right now...NO ONE know what happened

Posted by: KitKat

Blah Blah Blah, she provoked him so he decided to pound her in the face and head with his fists and choke her til she passed out, and if that wasnt enouph the scumbag woman beater bit her as well, all you people who defend him are as sick and demented as he is!!!!

Posted by: final comment on this bullsh*t

If you listen to her dad's statement it seems that Chris didn't beat her into unconsiousness you know the horrific injuries that the media have been reporting because if my daugther was beaten like that there would be no way I would be talkin like its no big deal. I think they did get into a fight, someone call the cops and the sh*t spun out of control. You all need to mind your business because i sure everything isn't perfect in your life. All the people making negative comments need to check themself, if the world only knew what was going on behind your close door.

Posted by: Anonymous

I agree with final comment

Posted by: Anonymous

First he says he hasn't seen her and then he says she hasn't...COME BACK WHEN U HAVE SOME FACTS!!!

Rihanna keep your head up and never let a man put his hands on you. Because if he loves and respects you he would never hurt you. Once a man puts his hand on a women they always say he'll do again and it may take you outta here.
Love your self first and then you can learn to love others.!

You know it's so funny that people like Larry King (who beats the crap out of his wife - alot) and other big named "white" celebrities can just call it a "minor misunderstanding" - but now that a young black man made a huge mistake - suddenly radio stations, groups and companies are dropping him like a hot potato! B.S.!

I love Rihanna and I wish her well - they deeply care about each other - they just need to take a deep breath - grow up - pray - and just let what God has planned fall into place!

What am not surprised about is the fact that Rihanna has already started calling him back - maybe it's due to the
fact that she knows she might have pushed the wrong button! And it still remains to be heard - who threw the first punch? Domestic abuse is domestic abuse regardless of gender!

And remember if charges are laid on Rihanna it could ultimately mean a severe crisis for her career - she works on a US Visa!!

Ya know. Stuff like what went down with Chris and Ri happens everyday all over the world. I serioously doubt that Chris turned into some Hulk of a monster and Ri was victim in all this. I also doubt that this is the first time their arguments have gotten physical. When in love people, know how to push each other's buttons, and although it is never okay for ANYONE to hit their woman OR man, I really believe that the only two people who will ever know what really went down are Chris and Ri, and that the world should let them handle the situation as they see fit. Everbody has an opinion, but how many were in the couple's shoes the night of the incident? NOBODY. Let them live! Obviosly if she's tryna make sure he's good, she takes some responsibility for the incident, and forgiveness should not be looked at negatively...ever.
