Justin Bieber : "These Award Shows Seem So Hollow"

Posted on Mon May 23rd, 2016 12:30pm PDT       By X17 Staff

The Biebs is #overit!

Justin Bieber took home the award for Top Male artist at last night's Billboard Music awards, but he just slammed these types of events in a rambling Instagram rant.

"No disrespect to anybody at any of the shows or the people running it. Nothing but love for you guys and your support. But I don't feel good when I'm there nor after. I try to think of it as a celebration but can't help feeling like people are rating and grading my performance," he wrote.

"A lot of people in the audience there to be seem worried about how much camera time they will get or who they can network with. When I'm doing a regular show I feel they are there for the right reasons and to strictly have a good time! But these award shows seem so hollow. I am privileged and honored to be recognized by my peers in but in these settings I can't feel the recognition. There's an authenticity missing that I crave! And I wonder does anybody else..." he added.

Pictures with fans? Nope! Award shows? Nope! It's JB's world and we're just living in it!

I don't know about these award shows.. No disrespect to anybody at any of the shows or the people running it. Nothing but love for you guys and your support. But I don't feel good when I'm there nor after. I try to think of it as a celebration but can't help feeling like people are rating and grading my performance. A lot of people in the audience there to be seem worried about how much camera time they will get or who they can network with. When I'm doing a regular show I feel they are there for the right reasons and to strictly have a good time! But these award shows seem so hollow. I get the premise is to award people for their accomplishments, but is it really? Because when I look in the audience I see a bunch of fake smiles so that when the camera hits them they look happy. Sure there are people truly proud of others so I don't want to knock them I'm just looking at the vast majority. I just think to myself if I'm living my purpose I want the reward to be fulfillment. I'm getting awarded for the things that I'm doing and not for who I am which is understandable I know it would probably be hard to calculate and award someone's spirit lol. But When I do get these awards the temptation of putting my worth in what I do is so hard to fight!!!I am privileged and honored to be recognized by my peers in but in these settings I can't feel the recognition. There's an authenticity missing that I crave! And I wonder does anybody else.. Sorry not sorry about grammar it's not my strong point

Ryan Gosling And Russell Crowe Ham It Up To Promote The Nice Guys In Italy

Posted on Mon May 23rd, 2016 12:15pm PDT       By X17 Staff

Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe looked like they were having a heck of time while promoting their new comedy, The Nice Guys on the Italian television show, Che Tempo The Fa. The duo have been hitting up Europe to promote their black comedy -- last week they were in Cannes, France and now they're in Italy.

We bet Eva Mendes, who recently gave birth to a second daughter Amada Lee Gosling on April 29, is missing her hot hubby right about now!

On Monday, the lads hit up the Italian talk show, which is hosted by Fabio Fazio. For the appearance, a beareded Gosling donned a button-down shirt and sport coat. Likewise, Crowe looked semi casual in a t-shirt and blue jacket.

The promotional stop comes as headlines reveal that their film, which is a '70s throwback buddy comedy, disappointed at the box office over the weekend. The movie came in fourth, only grossing $11.3 million in the U.S. Perhaps they are hoping to get a bigger international box office?

During the Cannes Film Festival, co-star Matthew Bomer said he and Gosling “sought solace in each other regularly” as fellow dads while they shot their neo noir.

The Nice Guys, which was penned by Lethal Weapon writer Shane Black, follows a motley pair of private detectives in Los Angeles, as they investigate the apparent suicide of a fading porn star in 1970s.

Doesn't sound like a hit to us -- and it seems like audiences concur!

EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS - Lady Gaga Rides Her Horse To The Grocery Store!

This is SO her!

Lady Gaga rolled out of bed and hopped on her horse - yes you read that right! - to grab a green juice at the grocery store in Malibu, and she brought her cowboy friend along for the ride! It's not every day you catch a pop star on her pony during an errand run! Mother Monster got her beloved animal as a Christmas gift, and is certainly putting it to good use. Who needs a car anyway?!

"Today on my doorstep was delivered a White Angel from heaven. It felt like the old days of the record business, she's such a spiritual girl! A heartfelt thank you to John Janick and Steve Berman, the whole Interscope family. I will ride, and care for, and love her forever. I was so surprised!" she captioned a photo of the horse when it was first delivered to her home.

The "Born This Way" songstress got lucky in that she already had a stable on her property. We wanna hit the trails with Gagaloo!

It's a tale as old as time!

Disney, the fantastical company that previously brought you the animated film Beauty and the Beast, is sure to delight audiences yet again with its live-action remake of the classic film. Now fans can sneak a peek at movie's first teaser trailer!

The live-action film is an adaptation of the beloved 1991 cartoon about a beastly prince and an unusual young woman who fall in love.

The film, which is directed by Dreamgirls director Bill Condon, stars Emma Watson as Belle and Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens as the Beast. Ewan McGregor, Emma Thompson, Josh Gad and Ian McKellan also appear in the highly anticipated revamp.

Unfortunately, the film doesn't hit theaters until March 17, 2017 (Happy St. Patty's Day!) -- so we will have to wait to feast our eyes on the magical movie!

What a random group!

Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian took the opportunity to cozy up to Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Alba, and Megan Trainor after the Billboard music awards in Las Vegas over the weekend, and ladies certainly had a wild time! 50 cent even pulled the K sisters on stage during his performance at the official afterparty, held at Drai's nightclub.

We don't think it's a coincidence that Kourt was in Sin City at the same time as rumored hookup buddy Justin Bieber! The mother-of-three seems to strategically place herself in the same places as JB, and you just know she's waiting around for his booty call. It's kind of pathetic, actually!

BET Throws Major Shade At Madonna's Billboard Music Awards Performance

Posted on Mon May 23rd, 2016 8:40am PDT       By X17 Staff

Looks like Madonna's purple reign is over!

Madge tried to get the crowd going with her Prince tribute at the Billboard Music Awards -- but it seems like no one was feeling it. Ouch -- that really hurt our ears!

The material girl, who set high atop her throne, performed last night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and paid tribute to the late musical legend with a not-so rousing performance of "Nothing Compares 2 U."

Then the purple-clad singer was later joined on stage by Stevie Wonder for a "Purple Rain" duet, which was equally disappointing.

Fans took to Twitter to express their distaste for Billboard's selecting Madonna, as well as her tone-deaf performance.

Several commenters on the Twitterverse panned Madonna's underwhelming performance.

We have to say we love how BET threw some major shade at the show and Madonna when moments after Madonna's performance the network took the opportunity to promote their own tribute to the Purple One at their upcoming BET Awards, which will air on June 26.

We have a feeling that BET isn't going to pick an old white lady, whose voice was never that great, to tribute the musical legend ...

Blac Chyna Tries To Hide Her 20 Pound Pregnancy Weight Gain

Posted on Mon May 23rd, 2016 8:05am PDT       By X17 Staff

The purse maneuver is the oldest trick in the book!

Blac Chyna dropped by her Lashed boutique yesterday afternoon and tried her best to hide her baby bump behind her handbag as shutterbugs snapped away. Feeling self-conscious, Chy? The former stripper did just reveal that she's already gained twenty pounds during her pregnancy with Rob Kardashian's baby, so it seems the extra weight is making her uncomfortable in her own skin. "Mommy's gained 20 pounds!" she says to her son in a recent Snapchat video while filming 163.2 on the scale.

The video vixen has really had the last laugh in this whole Kylie-Tyga-Kardashian drama. The plastic surgery princess kicked her rapper beau to the curb earlier this month at her homager's urging, and it was ChyRo's pregnancy that really solidified the need to have T-Raww out of the picture! Perhaps that's why Rob's baby mama showed off her "That Will Teach 'Em" jacket on Snap yesterday.

We really hope that she's actually in love and wanting another kid, rather than trying to cash in while getting back at her ex!

Justin Bieber Belts It Out At The Billboard Music Awards, Wins Top Male Artist

Posted on Sun May 22nd, 2016 10:51pm PDT       By X17 Staff

Justin Bieber performed a handful of his hits at the Billboard Music Awards at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday night, including “Company” and “Sorry." We're not loving his buzz cut, but we've missed his shows, so we're happy to see him back onstage. Hey, those dreamy locks will grow back eventually, right?

Anyway, not only did the Biebs win Top Social Media Artist, but he also took home the trophy for Top Male Artist. Talk about a big night! Adele won Top Artist (and Top Female Artist), so he didn't really stand a chance against the British singer for the main category, but we are happy to see the pop phenom racking up the awards this year. Seems like some of his lifestyle choices have actually helped his career a bit, eh?
