Ok....for all the uneducated people. Manic depression/bipolar disorder is medically classed the same. It affects the same synapses and neurons (ohhh big words), depending on the severity of the disorder the perscriptions are different. The PROBLEM with people like Robbie is that they try to be responsible and take their meds and then go out and drink themselves into a wreck. MEDS AND DRINKING DONT MIX.....you can not treat bipolar/manic depression disorder if you're drinking, it doesn't work. Most shrinks won't even see you if you drink on your meds....

i am a huge fan of robbie's and it is so great to see him out enjoying himself again. i have been lucky enough to see him in concert twice in australia- and he is simply the BEST entertainer and singer in the world. i think robbie showed courage by facing his problems and getting help. i have been fighting my own battle with depression and it's a godawful illness. i am so glad i don't have the whole freakin world watching and judging my every move like robbie does. he handles it with dignity and i love him for it....plus his hot bod, good looks, great sense of humour and awesome talent.
