Rob Pattinson Can't Remember What Having A Normal Life Is Like!

RPattinsonnormal.jpg

Awww, poor guy! Maybe he should sit down and have a chat with Leonardo DiCaprio about the woes of being a heartthrob?

In an interview with the Daily Record, Rob Pattinson talks about being mobbed by teenage girls, how Twitter has ruined his life, dealing with fame and how he was "embarrassed" to do the shirtless scene in New Moon!

"I can't remember what my normal life is like," Rob says. "Because of internet stuff and Twitter, there will be a crowd if you are in a place for more than half an hour. I've learned never to stay in the same place for more than 20 minutes. The biggest challenge is coping with the crowds. I am a quiet, private person. It's strange. You have to change a little bit."

Not only is he a very shy individual, but Rob is incredibly humble as well. On that shirtless scene in New Moon Rob says, "I was so uncomfortable doing it. It really is so embarrassing." Well, we've already gotten a sneak peak at the scene in question, and Rob looks phenomenal, so we don't think he should be ashamed at all!

It also seems like Rob is pretty critical of his movies, and he'd rather sit at home than attend a premiere! He says, "I still can't watch myself either. I have always been like that. Watching myself at the Twilight premiere was a mistake. I had never watched anything of myself since Harry Potter. But I went to it because my whole family was coming to see it. Nothing comes other than this pure discomfort. I can't watch myself. I am just feeling everybody else's reaction. I can't handle that at all."

"I am not very good at taking complements," he continued. "I am one of those annoying people. If someone tells me I gave a great performance, I say, 'oh, yeah, yeah' in a not very interested way. But if someone says I am bad or something, then I agree with it - although I hate it at the same time." After reading over his interview, we can't help but note how perfect he is for Kristen Stewart...she seems to have the same attitude towards being famous, so it's pretty easy to see how their offscreen romance has taken off.

So what does Rob have to say about his role as the dreamy Edward Cullen? "I like playing him. He is a little straight-laced for my liking. He is not rebellious. I think that should be respected." Hmm, does that mean that Rob's got a bit of a naughty streak? If so, that makes us love him even more!

Is Rob really the next Leonardo? We think so!

He should have known what he was getting himself into. Twilight fans are insane.

The headline of this article is incorrect. Please change it to "I am one of those annoying people."

Twilight fans are no better or worse than any other fans! Rob is adorable, shy and dorkable but also handsome and modest that's why he has so many fans!

Every actor these days knows exactly what they are getting into, and they dream of it. When it happens, they launch into the whiny act. He is free to stop acting and stop the attention at any time. Meanwhile he's not complaining about the money and privilege of fame.

well.
Normally I would agree with you cuz I hate it when celebs complain but I REALLY don't think Robert was trying to become famous when he did Twilight. SO, the amount of fame he got was very overwhelming. I kinda feel for him. He's not your average famous person. He doesn't like attention. And I don't think he's whining but he's just flaborgasted about all of it. I like Robert Pattinson. He seems like a good guy.

If you seek a movie career, you seek fame. The two go together. If he wanted to be an actor, but didn't want fame he'd be a stage actor.

I think people keep forgetting how young this guy is. He seems very genuine. We all need to give him a break and let him grow up.

love you Rob!

Awwwww the poor overrated baby.. Maybe when you are in a movie that actually requires acting..you will feel better.. Until then STFU.. and ride the 15 minutes of fame for as long as it last.. or at least until these little girls grow up and know what a MAN acutally is..

Don't worry Robert, after the Twilight Saga is done and forgotten, NOBODY WILL REMEMBER OR CARE ABOUT YOU.

WTF, you snarly haters. Do you really think he had ANY idea that doing this little stupid indie film would mean that his entire life & every movement would be under a microscope and fodder for the gossip mags, that he wouldn't be able to go OUTSIDE w/o being mobbed by screaming girls, that he would need a bodyguard to protect him wherever he goes???? I don't think so. Give him a break and stop criticizing his honesty.
