'Twilight' Takes Huge Bite Out of Box Office
It wasn't just hype!
Twilight beat estimates and took in more than $70 million in its first weekend of release.
The opening was so strong that Summit Entertainment announced they were green-lighting production on New Moon, the second book in the Twilight series.
And the best news of all, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will return as Edward and Bella!
