Ryan O'Neal Pleads Guilty To Meth Posession
Ryan O'Neal has pleaded guilty to one count of felony possession of a controlled substance following his arrest last September.
O'Neal was ordered by a judge in Malibu to enter an 18 month drug deferment program. If he completes the program the charge will be dismissed.
The 67-year-old actor has always maintained that the drugs cops found in his home belonged to his son Redmond.
"We still dispute it, but they were in his house and he takes responsibility for it and he wants to resolve it through diversion," O'Neal's attorney said after sentencing.
Redmond O'Neal was ordered to enter a drug rehab program in October.
