The food shopping thing is a family activity. At our house, we would all get together to make our list, and then we would go to the store and the kids loved to "help" with the shopping. They were very sensible about it. I even gave them some money ($2) to buy something they really wanted. Now they are getting ready for college and they say it was one of the fun things we did as a family. We also cooked together. You can make anything a fun family activity. You don't always have to spend money going out to events and stuff. My kids are a blessing. Ryan has the right idea. So does Reese. I agree with Anon. 7:35.
