We've been looking forward to seeing Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz get it on ever since we heard about their steamy lesbian sex scene in Woody Allen's new flick Vicky Cristina Barcelona - until we read Woody's response to the furor, that is!

In the latest issue of Empire, Allen outright denies the rumors, claiming his film contains "the barest smidgeon of sex" and nothing more. "There are sex scenes between all the characters in the movie: between the men and the women, and the women and the women. That is accurate, but I'd say there's probably not even 20 seconds of sex in the whole picture."

Well, that's the worst news we've heard today - do you think the flick will show any ScarJo/Penelope action beyond what they show in the trailer?

Chalk up another celebrity endorsement for Barack Obama - this time, it's Tom Hanks!

The AP is reporting that the two-time Oscar winner sent out a video message through MySpace last week entitled "Beware: Celebrity Endorsement" outlining his reasons for supporting Obama's candidacy.

"He has the integrity and the inspiration to unify us, as did FDR and Harry Truman and John F. Kennedy and even Ronald Reagan when they ran for the job," Hanks said. "I want Barack Obama to be President of this country, a country that once said people with his skin color were only three-fifths of a human being."

Of course, Hanks is only the most recent celebrity to come out in favor of Obama - other celebrity backers (including Halle Berry, George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson and Robert De Niro) have already voiced their star support... with some even doing so via magazines and t-shirts:

We've been hearing rumors forever, but now Scarlett's rep has confirmed to X17 that they are, indeed, engaged!

This is the first engagement for Johansson (23), but the second time for Reynolds (31), who was engaged to Alanis Morissette for two years back in 2004.

The Daily Mail is reporting that an auction to attend the premiere of He's Just Not That Into You with the buxom beauty has ended - with a winning bid of over forty grand!

The "dream date" will reportedly include a chauffeur-driven limo ride to the red carpet, where he'll meet up with Scarlett and head inside. Johansson will also give her date a personal handwritten note before he leaves.

(Hilariously, the auction even allows for the winner to take a friend along - that's right, even dream dates come with third wheels!)

All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Oxfam, an organization fighting poverty and injustice worldwide.

Well, it looks like Woody Allen's decided to give everyone on earth at least one reason to see his upcoming movie Vicky Cristina Barcelona - a steamy lesbian sex scene between Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz!

According to an insider who spoke to PageSix.com, the scene promises to be "extremely erotic. People will be blown away and even shocked. Penelope and Scarlett go at it in a red-tinted photography dark room, and it will leave the audience gasping."

The two also allegedly get it on with Javier Bardem, who plays Penelope's husband in the film.

Yeesh, sounds like this movie's gonna have more action than a whole night of Cinemax - not that we're complaining, mind you!

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds have kept their relationship low-key - but it sounds like they may be taking the biggest step a couple can take in the near future!

The Daily News quotes a "very good source" as saying that the couple will be announcing an engagement soon!

Scarlett's rep is, of course, denying everything - guess we won't know for sure until the invites go out!

Magazine, her rep left no doubts whatsoever on the matter, calling the story an "outrageous and defamatory fabrication lacking any conceivable basis or proof" and scorching the magazine for their inability to provide information about "when she supposedly had this surgery, who performed the surgery, or what was supposedly done - all because there simply is no truth to the story."

Scarlett herself even got into the act, protesting Us potentially "misleading" her fans and making serious threats of "immediate legal action". Translation: Keep your nose out of my biz, Us!

But what else is new? The Match Point vixen attended Elle Magazine's 14th Annual Women in Hollywood event last night in Beverly Hills, and I think it's safe to say that she rocked it.
