i think he has the beard cuz he's not working now so why would he shave. he's still 'shia', just shia with a beard. i also think he's not really vain, like he doesn't really care about his appearence. kind of a typical bummy 20 something guy.

You know, I never saw any photos of Shia with a beard this thick from 2003-spring of 2007. My guess is that Shia either does not like who he is at all or he is trying to be a typical hollywood celebrity. I read that he may be so crushed that China Brezner, his ex, dumped him and he does not know how to deal with the extreme pain so he mask the pain by this horrible beard of his. I think he looks like puke now. But really he seems like one of those guys that does not give a $**T what his fans think of him, if he wants to grow a beard then he will. This guy is so imnature that it is so unreal. Shia try to grow up and shave, if you know how!!! If you do not know how to shave then ask your father or a friend to help you!!!!!! It is not that hard if you are too embarassed to ask them then google up how to shave a beard...good luck with growing up, I know for you it may be super hard now!
