We managed to snap a few pix of Shia's wrecked ride waiting in the body shop for repair following his DUI wreck this weekend. Looks like there's plenty to fix!
Can you believe how much damage the passenger side of Shia's ride took? Isabel Lucas ought to be thanking her lucky stars that her injuries weren't worse!
Speaking of Shia, the actor recently gave a shockingly candid interview to Details Magazine which touched on his family's predisposition for addiction. Apparently, Shia's father used to be addicted to heroin; Shia also claims that he and his dad "would drink together and smoke together."
Shia was also quoted as saying "I don't know how to have one drink". Yikes, Shia! After this weekend, you've certainly got incentive to learn!
UPDATE: Authorities have determined that Shia was not at fault for the accident. Los Angeles Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore told the AP that, after investigating, the other driver involved in the collision appeared to have run a red light, and will be cited.
"[Shia] was not at fault," Whitmore said.
Guess that settles that!
