Paps Stung by Sting's Presence

Sting's mere presence at Il Sole yesterday (where he lunched with wife Trudie Styler), caused a fight between two photogs (not ours) trying to get a picture with the tantric Police man. Sting was as affable as ever as the paps snapped away, saying he had a great time at the Grammys. He even posed for a pic with one photog, who was also an ardent fan! When things started heating up between the paps, Sting stayed cool, telling them "it's not that serious!" The star and his wife made a graceful exit as a shoving match started between two photogs. But the situation was quickly diffused when other paps stepped in to separate the two.



What did you think of The Police's performance at the Grammys? I was a little underwhelmed, myself...

That pap in the red shirt is just plain pathetic. Picking a fight? OMG, that's the result of being ugly and lacking a sexual life. I'm glad the other pap didn't pick his fight and drop to his level.

That needs to be a reality show: Paparazzi Abusing Each Other. Nothing funnier than Vladmir thinking he's back in a Tajikstani coal mine getting into a shoving match with a wigger in a Clipper jersey. Make it happen, X17. You owe your fans at least that much.

i think the last pap really was a x17 pap as he looked foreign. The guy who got pushed by the guy in the red. Why was he telling that pap to get the f out of there?

They were good, and I enjoyed it, although I don't know if their hearts are really in it. It does seem like just a big cash-in thing. I thought it would have been better if they had played a song like Synchronicity II, which is an awesome rocking song that could have been written yesterday, but it hasn't been played to death over the last 20 years like Roxanne and Every Breath You Take have. I *was* glad they didn't do a medley, because that's always kind of cheesy.
