Taylor didn't sweep the awards.. she was nominated for six and won five. She lost to MJ for Pop/Rock album of the year. She definitely deserves this. This is fan based voting and she obviously has a huge following. There might be a lot of people griping over it and "Taylor haters" but she didn't get this kind of following by simply looking pretty and being nice. She's sold out every concert on her first solo tour, had record sales of her album and puts on a fantastic concert. She's worked her little butt off and remained composed and classy in the worst of circumstances during the last year!

Taylor is a great artist and I love the effort she puts into her work. However, Michael Jackson has produced amazing music for 40 years and has created a message that still lives on today. His performances are like no other, and I have never nor do I ever think I will see such talent like his. Taylor is great, but there is NO comparison between her and Michael. Period. Michael should have won hands down; just watch his this is it documentary-he is still singing live and dancing throughout the entire rehearsal at the age of 50. He never lost any of his talent, and that concert would have been truly amazing.

I'm not judging anyone. However,I hope your friends know that you think it is okay to sleep in bed with their children. I personally think you should seek help. My children have had many friends sleep over, and never once have I brought them in my bed. When they are scared or homesick, we do what most responsible parents do....we let them call their parents and they come and pick them up. That is what a healthy parent does. i grew up listening to michael. i love his music, always have. he put out a lot of amazing music and despite all the crap he went through, he achieved a lot in his career. that being said, he didn't do anything this year but die. that's the sad truth of it. and i'm sick of hearing about he did this is it. his family made sure that movie was edited to make him look good, rather than show the actual truth of how bad off he was towards the end of his life. a lot of the sound clips that were used in this is it aren't even from the real rehearsals, they were from things in the past when he was stronger and his voice sounded better. if this had been some kind of lifetime achievement award, i would be livid if taylor had won over him. but this was an artist of the year award and people have got to face the fact that he was far from artist of the year. i never even understood why he got nominated for anything, since the ablum that he was nominated for came out six years ago. i am not a fan of taylor swift personally, but i'm glad that the people in charge of these awards didn't rig them so that michael would win everything. let's just be glad that lady gaga didn't win this shit.
