Thank you Sher...the big catch in the final drive for NY that wasn't even in control....but it went in the books as a catch... And not to mention all the calls that SHOULD have been called against them that weren't... We were sitting there dumbfounded how many facemask calls weren't called on NY. Granted, NE should have played better and put it away early. They didn't DESERVE to win...but damn it, there was some majorly fucked up stuff happening with regards to officiating.

as someone who has watched religiously for basically my entire night, the officiating was pretty fucking good in this game. both teams got away with shit they shouldn't have gotten away with, but there wasn't a lot of ridiculous bad calls being made. people who are in here claiming the giants won because of bad officiating are pathetic. the patriots lost that game because they played pretty bradly. tom brady looked like a mediocre quaterback intsead of the superstar he's supposed to be. the giants outplayed the patriots, end of story. i guess patriot fans are sore losers just like bill belichick.
I don't think you guys watched the same game I did. First there was the motion made by the Giants that caused a Pat to move and what do the Giants do? They all stand up and point like little children tattling. It wasn't even the Pat that MOVED first! But he got the call against him. Then the fumble that was recovered by the Pats that was so painfully obviously the Pats ball but the officials wouldn't blow the whistle until a good 10 seconds later after 2 Giants climbed on top and ROLLED the Pat over to take the ball from him. When the Pat went down on TOP of the ball, it should have been blown then. Then the other fumble that was bobbled around, caught by a Pats who takes off running and THEN a whistle is called for holding in another PART OF THE FIELD!!! I could go on and on with the face masking, putting knees in a chest while getting off the ground, hitting while already out of bounds. You cannot tell me that after that game the Giants only had 1 legitimate call against them - and that was one that Belichick had to challenge. Those refs sucked for sure. I could have cared less if the Pats had won as I am a Cowboy fan so no, this isn't a Giant fan whining. I've watced football all my life and seen better reffing in other games. For such a BIG game they certainly picked some lousy refs - or they wanted the Manning pussy to win badly so he could have a ring just like his big brother (who is obviously the athlete in the family).

Gotschowski (or however it is spelled cause lord knows I can't even pronounce it) EASILY could have knocked a 49 yarder right down the middle....but he went for a 1st down...THAT was the difference in the game. But damn it, there was some shady, shitty things happening, and while the Pats just looked mediocre as opposed to their dominating selves and should have played better, the officiating was crap!!! We are not sore loosers....I only cry foul when there is something to cry foul about. I haven't seen such piss poor officiating in a football game since the AFC Divisionals 2 years ago...Pats at Denver...Denver had that game handed to THEM as well. Last year's AFC championship was pretty fair, and my team lost THAT game as well...
