Reports that Tom Cruise was involved in a motorcycle accident yesterday are false!
X17online photographers tell us that Tom and Katie spent most of the day (five hours!) at the Scientology Center yesterday, and that they didn't see Tom get on a bike at all. Katie drove her own car to the Center and Tom met her there in his chauffeured black SUV.
Additionally, Tom's rep, via his Twitter, has confirmed that the incident is "totally false":
Some of you may have heard/seen via the Internet that Tom was involved in a motorcycle accident today. To set the record straight, this story has no basis in reality what-so-ever...Tom tells us he hasn’t been on his bike in days due to the weather, but when it clears up, look out.

The special effects peeps working on the new Tom Cruise flick Knight & Day are using not one but two stand-ins for Cameron Diaz in this motorcycle scene, plus the Tom Cruise double.
But it's not necessarily that Cam and Tom aren't up for doing their own stunts - we saw Tom cruise through some scenes in which he was flying through the air for this new film -- no strings attached. And its well-known that Cruise enjoyed doing many of his own action scenes in the Mission Impossible films.
We're hearing production costs were skyrocketing with these two pricey stars attached and producers actually made the decision to have stunt doubles and dummies fill in more scenes than was originally planned just to save some money!
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes split up yesterday -- just for the day! While Tom was running errands with a bodyguard/chauffeur on Sunset Blvd., Katie was at the Scientology Celebrity Center most of the day.
Katie's been visiting the Scientology headquarters a lot recently -- driving herself to and from the Center, spending hours on end inside. In fact, Katie was at the church today for almost five hours! She arrived before noon and left around 4 pm.
What's she doing in there, you might ask? Well one X17er is guessing she's got a bun in the oven and is getting some prenatal treatments or counseling. Tom Cruise was snapped shooting Knight & Day in Malibu yesterday, and even though they still haven't wrapped production on the film (seems like it's taking forever!) the actor was cheerful as he strolled around on set.
P.S. I don't know what his secret is, but he's hardly aged at all! Can you believe he's 47?
That's right, the family man has signed up for Mission: Impossible IV!
J.J. Abrams won't be back in the director's seat, but Paramount - who parted ways with Cruise a few years back - will again produce the film and start shooting this summer, confirms E! News. Release date is set for Memorial Day, 2011!

We've all pulled illegal maneuvers on the road before, and even though he had cameras following him, Tom Cruise went ahead and rode through a closed lane on Sunset Blvd earlier this afternoon.
Then again, even if he HAD gotten pulled over by the police, I doubt he would have received a ticket - this guy can probably charm his way out of any situation!

It's pretty amazing how just about every major A and B-list celebrity participated in last night's Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief. From Tom Cruise to Jennifer Aniston, along with performances by Madonna and Rihanna, the telethon was a huge success, raising millions and millions of dollars. Exact numbers haven't yet been announced, but according to Indiana University's Center on Philanthropy, total donations from America in the last two weeks have reached $377 million, and an estimated half of that could be coming from Hope for Haiti.

And here we have the trailer for Knight And Day, starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. While it seems a bit campy, Tom and Cameron look like they had a blast filming it, and the action sequences look pretty decent, so I might be tempted to check it out when it hits theaters this July.

Tom must have re-awakened his love of motorcycles on the set of Knight & Day (where he did his own stunts), but we do hope he's being careful! After all, he and Katie may want to try to give Suri a little brother or sister in 2010!
