More people NEED to know of the benifits of nursing, like increased IQ of the baby, less illness for the baby. breastfeeding produces a hormone in the Mom that helps her increase the bond with her baby! The American Acadamy of Pediatrics recommends breastfeeding until age one or longer as mutially desired. The World Health Orginization recommends breastfeeding until age 2.

There are babies dieing in the world because formula companies give formula to poor women around the world who then loose their milk supply due to the formula, then they are too poor to buy fomula and the baby dies!!! Not saying No to my daughter worked, but not saying No to sons didn't. My daughter was never sassy and never told me No to anything. It also, helped with her vocabulary.
