There Are Rules For Interviewing Tom Cruise?!

Tom Cruise tcruisekimmel12110809X17.jpg Tom Cruise has reportedly gone and made a list of requirements for journalists wishing to interview him!

The Italian publication LeiWeb recently sat down with Tom to discuss "Valkyrie," among other things, and in the beginning of their article, they list off the rules Tom and his publicity team have set for potential interviewers! We understand that some celebs try to avoid certain interview topics, but this seems a bit, well, divalike!

Our pals in Italy translated the article for X17online, and an inside source revealed that Tom's camp gave journalists a statement about Scientology and "strongly suggested" that they write about it in their articles. So what are the other requirements for interviewing Mr. Tom Cruise?

  • Must have seen "Valkyrie."
  • Must have liked "Valkyrie."
  • Must read a letter about how Scientology has never been banned in Germany.

Are these rules fair, or is it just a way to censor bad press? Hmm...

Did you see the Valkyrie, and did you like it?

Scientologist, nutcase, midget. And it has pretty much been banned in Germany.

Saw it. Paid for another movie and went into see it rather than enrich $cientology's pockets. At the end of the day it was around a 3 out of 10. The best scenes were the ones the audience could relate to; the local militia being called out to alert, only to be sent back to barracks with nothing to do but wait for something to happen.

Finally, when "it" happened - the wrap up was of so little consequence as to be pretty much what was anticipated, the telling of a story with a built in spoiler that managed to have less significance than Risky Business.

He looks like a demented smurf..

Except that smurfs are cute ;)

And, let's make our rules for Tom.
1. Go away.
2. Take care of your children.
3. Go far away.

He looks more like that evil old Gargamel.

Censor bad press, of course.

Tom is a has been--unfortunately he will take the talented Katie Holmes down with him. He was a cool guy until he became as scientologybot. Now he is creepy control freak.

Must suck to not be an "A" list actor anymore. It is unfortunate that he slaughtered the role in Valkyrie ( a German hero. Great movie plot, great director, great movie, the other actors were good but Tom ruined the movie by not preparing for the role or role playing. Kinda sounds like the Heaven's Gate of 2008. I wish they would pick talented people to portray characters....Val Kilmer would have an academy award nomination for this role if he had done it (as he should have)

Good for Tom. He didn't get to the top by leaving things to chance. Most celebrities have rules for interviews and why not? They're often treated badly by the press, so why not take a little control. Tom is simply smart, that's all.

The movie has dropped to 14th place and is fading fast. In the last 2 weeks, made a pittance. So, hurry, Tom. Go to countries all around the world, because this one ain't buyin' it.

Awful film made by an awful bloke, nuff said

TOM IS OLD AND TIRED. He can't make a good film if he wanted too. He's a NUT job, and we all know it, I think they know it as well in Hollywood, his
movies aren't even doing well.

Poor Katie, I think she is really starting to come around and see what a NUT JOB she married, that's why in every photo of her she looks so dang sad!!!

RUN KATIE RUN, before Tom takes you down as well.

The movie was TERRIBLE!

Rules or no rules, to have to read a letter on Wack job scientology is nuts.

* On a side note- I was at the center during the holidays (just had the address, didn't know it was the center) it was for a LA Toy drive and fashion show, in the middle of the fashion show a screen drops down, and there is a 5 min movie on scientology, and then a speaker comes out and talks about how wonderful it is there, and if we would like a tour, to just ask after the show.

I'm like What the F*&(*^&K
