To Whatcha: As a vintage car owner the seatbelt laws only apply to cars that were originally manufactured with seatbelts. Doubtful the Corvette of that vintage came with seatbelts unless a safety package option was ordered. I know our 57 Chevy didn't have seatbelts but we had them installed once the kids came along. Now that we have them we must wear them or be ticketed.
