Update: Travis and DJ AM Will Make Full Recovery!

The Medical Director at Georgia's Joseph Still Burn Center, Dr. Fred Mullins, announced this morning at a press conference that jet crash victims DJ AM, 35, and Travis Barker, 32, will make a full recovery:
- "Since both Barker and Goldstein are in overall good health and didn't suffer from any other crash-related complications, a full recovery is expected."
He described Travis' burns as being on his torso and lower body and Adam Goldstein's as being on his arm and party of his head. They both sustained second- and third-degree burns. He said recovery from such burns can take as long as a year but he expected Barker and Goldstein's recoveries to be "much sooner than that."
The doctor also read this statement from the victims' families:
- “The families wish to thank fans from all over the world for their prayers and concern. Deepest sympathy is expressed to the loved ones of those who perished in the crash. As the two recuperate and mourn this loss, privacy for them, their families and friends is requested at this time.”
He declined to discuss the patients' emotional states saying only that ""45 percent of all patients have some emotional trouble."

We hope we'll continue to hear good news about these two!
