Posh & Becks To Adopt?
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's adoptive example has touched hearts worldwide - including, it seems, the ones residing in the chests of David and Victoria Beckham!
Grazia is reporting that, following a UN-sponsored trip to Sierra Leone, the couple has been discussing the possibility of adopting an African orphan.
During the Beckhams' four-day tour of the impoverished African nation, David witnessed a birth and helped administer immunization drops to another newborn.
The experience seems to have left David extremely moved - the footballer subsequently revealed that he was "close to tears. I had to step back and take a breath."
According to a family friend, this isn't the first time David's looked into adopting, either. "Adoption is something David has been talking about for some time," they told Grazia. "If there is one subject that can move him to tears, it's the thought of being unloved, uncared for and with no hope or future."
The couple had hoped to try for a fourth child last summer until plans for the Spice Girls to reunite took over.
Now, however, plans seem to be moving forward - in fact, Grazia says David's been speaking to his friend Tom Cruise about his experience with adoption!
"Tom has talked to David about how adoption changed him and how he's been able to change the lives of two amazing children," Grazia's source says.
It would be wonderful if the Beckhams could find room in their family for a new addition - especially Victoria's long-hoped-for daughter!
