Today MTV announced that Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Charlize Theron, Rainn Wilson and Anna Faris have been added to the already stellar list of presenters for the 2008 MTV Movie Awards.

Previously revealed presenters include Ben Stiller, Sarah Jessica Parker, Will Ferrell, Lindsay Lohan, Steve Carell, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Liv Tyler, Seth Rogen, Megan Fox, Edward Norton, Jennifer Hudson, Dwayne Johnson, Anne Hathaway, James Franco, Rumer Willis, Emma Stone, Brendan Fraser, Katharine McPhee and Danny McBride. Additionally, Coldplay and The Pussycat Dolls will perform at the awards show and debut new music.

What a lineup! We can't wait to see what the stars are wearing and who brings home the golden popcorn! The 2008 MTV Movie Awards will be hosted by comedian Mike Myers, and will be broadcast live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California on Sunday, June 1 at 8pm/7c. We'll be watching!

Will Smith is behind the lease for the New Village Academy in Calabasas, California, which will be an independent pre-kindergarten through sixth-grade school opening this fall.

The school's motto is "Spiral Up!" and it plans to renovate the new school site with new play equipment and new furniture, as well as paint and carpeting for the little kiddies.

No word yet on whether or not Smith's kids will be enrolled at the school, as calls from Smith's rep were not immediately returned.

Half of A-list Hollywood came out to celebrate Victoria Beckham's 34th birthday last night.

The wide-ranging group of stars was at Via Veneto in Santa Monica to take part in the festivities.

Will Smith wants to make one thing clear - there's way more than Six Degrees of Separation between him and the Church of Scientology!

Smith, a recent recruit into the Hubbard-worshiping fold according to a controversial new Radar Magazine feature, spoke to Rush and Malloy to clear the air yesterday. Will didn't leave any doubt about his relationship to the contentious Church - in fact, his exact words were "I am a Christian"!

"You don't have to be Jewish to be a friend of Steven Spielberg. You don't have to be a Muslim to be a friend of Muhammad Ali. And you don't have to be a Scientologist to be a friend of Tom Cruise," Smith said.

"I am a student of all religions. And I respect all people and all paths."

Guess that settles that - for now!

Has Will Smith gone and pulled a Kate Bosworth?

We caught the actor hustling out of Nobu with his family last night. Doesn't he look kinda frighteningly slender? I mean, just look at his neck!

At least Will was gracious enough to give the paps a big smile before hurrying away with his family. Just goes to show you - skinny people can be jolly, too!

Sometimes, you've just gotta pity the poor paps - for instance, when Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Will Smith, and Jada Pinkett all leave at the same time, whose photo do you snap first?

The fearsome foursome met up at Cut for a group dinner last night. Bet you wish you'd waited on that table!

Our videographer's eyes were particularly drawn to Will's bedazzling "Party Starter" shirt. Judging by the kiss he and Jada shared in front of the paps, it looks like the party went on well after they left!

Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett may be well into their thirties - but last night, they were only too happy to go at it like a couple of kids for the benefit of the cameras!

Will Smith may be the current box office hero, but in an interview with The Daily Record, the current US box office champ and all around nice guy may be pissing off a lot of people by proclaiming that he can see the good in the world's most notorious villain: Adolf Hitler.

Course, we don't really think Will meant that he in anyway admired Hitler, just that all people start out basically good. But Will's certain to catch heat on this comment, just as he did years ago, at the beginning of his acting career, when he made some comments that could be interpreted as homophobic about his onscreen kiss with another man in Six Degrees of Separation!

Looks like Will Smith's Parisian vacation is more of a working vacation - last night, we caught the Living Legend heading over to the Canal+ studios to film an episode of Le Grand Journal!

Of course, when you're surrounded by the kind of adoring fans who flock to Will whenever he leaves the George V, it's a lot easier to want to give something back!

Will Smith may play the last man on earth in I Am Legend - but in real life, the actor can't even leave his hotel without being swarmed by fans!

Luckily for his adoring public, Will took some time to sign autographs and pose for photos on his way out of the George V in Paris yesterday afternoon.

Then again, Will had plenty to smile about - after all, I Am Legend's opening weekend broke December box-office records!

Will continued to prove himself to be one of the nicest and most down-to-earth celebs on the set of his new film, Hancock. In between takes, he shook hands, posed for pix and even waved to his fans before getting into character as the fallen super-hero in the Peter Berg flick.

Looks like Will Smith's forthcoming vehicle Hancock is going to be awwwwwwesome - just check out all the action we caught yesterday! In addition to a dazed-looking Smith climbing out of a giant hole in the ground, we also caught him in the heat of an intense argument with a scantily-clad Charlize Theron. (Frankly, we're surprised Will was even able to get his lines out - his co-star was lookin' hot!)
