A bottle and a diaper? How old is Suri?
she´s 2.my little boy is almost 3 and still in diapers.Not all day anymore,but he still wears it

Diaper or bottle--pick your training battle. Training your child is really up to the child as to how fast they are ready to progress. But both (bottle & diaper)this child (or rather the parents) have issues. Either the child isn't ready to move forward or the parents aren't ready to move forward. This child is now old enough that one or both of the above are becoming an issue.

OMG How cute Katie and the Little Suri are dressed a like. I think katie should introduce the sippy cup to suri. Diapers are ok until about 3, but bottles aren't they decay the teeth because kids.
My Child is 1 month younger than Suri and is still in DIAPERS and A BOTTLE!! Honestly, we have tried to take her off- she is not ready- and the diaper thing!! She just turned two!!! You try to tell a child that doesn't even know how to tell you they have to go pee pee to go!! BACK OFF!!! e
ooop I accidently posted my comment above and I did not finish my sentence. Because kids sometimes fall asleep with the bottle in their mouth and the liquid drips on to their teeth and the sweetness of juice or milk will decay the teeth.
By the time a child is two they should be off of a bottle...period. If your child is still using a bottle even though you've tried "taking her off", then you're not trying hard enough.

I have a 1 year old that will turn 2 in september and he is still in diapers which is normal cuz like you said they still can't talk but we slowly introduced the sippy cup at meals and for juice during the day when he turned 1, we still gave him his bottle for naps till about 1 year and 3 months then we got those no drip cups and started using those for the day naps it took us about two weeks after that before he was ready to switch from bottles to cups.

Any pediatrician will tell you, take the bottle at 1! That is ridiculous. Both of my children and grandchild was without a bottle by the time their first bday came around. Diapers are tougher, most are between 2-3. But someone slap some since into Suri's parents!
Slap some sense into them as well! Got so torn up over that bottle I forgot how to spell!

my son was on sippy cup at nine months. off the diaper at 3, but because the babysitter did not want to help me train him. it was difficult just to train him in the evenings and weekends. but right at 3 he was off of it.

My son is 2 1/2 and in diapers...3 yrs. old is the time most kids start using the potty. My son uses a pacifier not a bottle, but still I want to take it away from him. It's hard, but soon we'll have to. Some kids are that way with the bottle.
There's nothing out of the ordinary about a two-year-old wearing diapers. That would be very young to be completely potty trained. The bottle is a different story. NO two-year-old needs a bottle. Get that kid some sippy cups for crying out loud.
Anyone ever think that the bottle is for security considering there are cameras in that poor girls face constantly?! Maybe a potty training issue when your always out and about with mom is a little difficult too...
It is so sad to see Katie Holmes trying to fit in different shoes. A couple of years ago, she was as cute, sweet and a happy young lady. A couple of years down the wrong path and she looks old, unhappy and wasting away - she certainly living in a dream but not a very happy one. I wish it will change for her - she seems like a very nice person!

A 2 year old should be at least at home if not in bed - at night time! Another wrong decision Katie is doing. Katie seems very tired, older and very much confused of who she really is and what is she suppose to do! Meeting and marrying Tom C. was most certainly not a good thing!
I don't care WHO you are or WHAT your excuse is. ANY child who is still in diapers and sucking a bottle at 27 months old is laziness on the parents part! As far as the argument that "they can't tell you" BS! Don't they tell you in some way that they are hungry, lonely, tired of scared? Give me a break! Any child who is talked to and socialized is able to say "pee-pee" or "poo-poo" by two! This is child neglect by means of looking the other way and ignoring the stages of growing up in a NORMAL child! Maybe Suri has mental difficulties or something that makes her not understand and what she should be doing by now.
Tom and Katie: spend some of your bucks and get Suri a haircut! She looks like a street urchin with that ratty, limp and dirty looking hair!
Yes, Suri should certainly be off the bottle, but it's unusual for a child under the age of 3 to be completely potty trained. Honestly, though, with a team of nannies you'd think she'd at least be in pull-ups.

omg..while i agree she doesn't need a bottle...but wtf should she be forced out of diapers..yes kids know pee pee and poopoo but they still haven't grasped the concept of telling u when they have to go..heck kids older still don't....my nephew only uses a bottle at night right before bed to drink his milk and then hands it to his mom and she puts him to bed w/o the bottle..as for diapers..hes slowly learning...but why make a child grow up so quickly...they have plenty of time to be adults!!! let her parents raise her!!! thats their job not YOURs!

Really...I agree who cares? Im not a parent but damn is it really that big a deal that she is using a bottle. Now if she was 5 with a bottle thats one thing, but she is 2. You people really need to get a life....Or get a kid that you can raise how you want and leave those people alone...
Ok so none of my 3 kids were potty trained at 2.By 3 yea but not 2. My youngest child had a bottle at night and when she was tired until she was Suri's age with my pediatrions blessing. It was the only way she would drink milk. Bioth diaper and bottle were goen by 3. I was not lazy!!!!Nor was my husband. every child is different.

Mine stopped the bottle at 1year old and stopped diapers at 2 yrs old. But will not give up the pacifier at naptimes yet and is almost 3. But I agree she should be working on at least getting rid of EITHER the bottle or the diapers. Maybe Mom just had her in the diapers while she was busy during dancing so she wouldn't have to attend to any potty emergencies...

butt-out...its their business what they do! My son had a bottle till he was 3 1/2 and grew up just fine....MIND YOUR BUSINESS....some kids wear diapers till their 5 or older....keep your opinion to yourself!
I think it's CONCERN for Suri and is a good thing about our society that they CARE about children and their well-being regardless of who is trying to raise them. It may not be our business in total, but it is good to be watchful - just look at Britney. Katie has changed drastically and not in all good ways. It's a shame. I just hope that Suri has a true chance at happiness in her life and she won't be controlled by her parents and forced to be in scientology. She is an innocent child and I hope she will not be a victim of her parents (especially her dad's) celebrity. It's so sad what happens to a lot of these celeb kids. I hope her parents won't be blind to anything either like the Travoltas if something were to ever be "wrong". It's really quite disheartening.

My son was out of the bottle when he was 2..pretty late i know..but, out of diaper at 2.4 mos. And you can train them, really! My son can tell to pee-pee and poo-pooh..at 2.

A diaper and a sippy cup??? I would assume by her age she should be off that stuff. I have 2 daughters..my first had no bottle after 15 mos...my youngest gave hers up at 8 mos. and they both potty trained by 2...Maybe celebs don't worry about there children's teeth, because money can buy anything..so, such as life for celebs..if it's broke..have it nipped, tucked, sucked or whatever else money can buy

Katie is too damn lazy to get Suri off the bottle and diaper. Katie is only interested in being a fame whore and trying to be taken serious. She's a joke. She's also hideous looking. Katie went from 26 to 55. She looks awful.
How sad it's true what they say money can't buy happiness. Katie looks so Sad Tired and unhealthy, I don't have nearly as much money as her, shit I live from my little paycheck and I'm raising my 19 month old baby and I can definately tell you I don't look that tired and unhealthy. (although I actually have to work) If I had as much money as her OMG no worries for me. She def. needs to dump tom, She looks like such a nice person but shes definately lost. I can tell by looking at that blank stare in her eyes
It is possible to potty train 2 year old's, you just have to REALLY put all your time into potty training them, and yes they can tell you they have to go to the bathroom and yes you can take the bottle away at the age of 2 as well. I did with my 3 kids, there is no excuse. If you really wanted your kids to be potty trained at two and have them off the bottle IT IS POSSIBLE! My 3 kids were out of diapers at 2 and off the bottle at 2. NO EXCUSES!
I think it depends on the child. My son will be two next Monday and he still gets a bottle but only in the am and at bed tiime. When we are out in public he has a sippy cup. As for toliet training, I am not even trying until he is a bit older, I know he is not ready yet for all of that. What in the heck is the big rush anyways?
What kind of the mother will drag her tot to a late night dance practice? No wonder Suribot looks so pissed. What a studpid photo op attempt? Stupid like hell! Suri is getting less and less marketable. With all the celebrity babies out there, Suribots looks so dull and confused and pissed. People only talk about her because she cannot phase out from bottle to sippy cup or from liquid food to solid ones. And it may not be her fault. Her parents want to keep her like a baby so that they, particularly TC, would look young and active. Yes, it's her parents' calls about Suri's development, but hey, on-lookers have every right to comment.
