I think she looks great. I have children and the better shape you are when you get pregnant the better shape you will be in after. She may have thougt if she brought the baby all the photographers would scare the little baby. There is nothing wrong with a new mom going to the store and leaving the baby with Dad or a grandparent. As long as the baby is with someone responsible who cares.

I've never been a huge Alba fan (looks or acting) but I think she looks great for just having a child. Great for you if you lost all your pregnancy weight in 3 weeks. Fact of the matter is some women gain more weight be it due to behavior or genetics and consequently it takes a bit longer to bounce back. A lot of women would love to have her figure even post-pregnancy and maybe she's just happy how she is and is taking her time to recover.
