That can't be his baby under there, under the California regulations you are not supposed to leave the hospital without your baby being in a car seat.

I just had my baby in California 6 months ago. The hospital told me I had to carry her out. She could not be in her carseat while leaving the hospital. I don't know why, and maybe I was misinformed. But I was told that was the hospital's policy.

Yep. The carseat is for the car! Sheesh! And there is no law that says the carseat has to be the type that has a base and removes from the car to carry the baby. However, I thought at first that this was a joke or some way to throw of the photogs. It doesn't seem like he's carrying a baby.

Definitely not a baby under the cloth. Mat needs to brush up on his "carry an infant" acting skills. WTF does he take us for? A bunch of gullible nitwits?

I had my baby in California 4 years ago at the EXACT same hospital and we were required to bring in a baby carrier AND/OR show we had a proper car seat. If that is a baby, it is the smallest baby in the world! Can you blame them, though? It is stressful enough to have a new baby. Then you have to deal with swarms of paparazzi flashing cameras at your little one and following you home in a dangerous fashion?
