LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Today GLAAD announced that they will be honoring Grammy award winning singer Janet Jackson with the prestigious Vanguard Award at the GLAAD Media Awards, which will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles.

GLAAD President Neil G. Giuliano released this statement on GLAAD's official website:

“We are delighted to honor Janet Jackson at the 19th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles as such a visible, welcoming and inclusive ally of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.”

Ellen Degeneres, who has been honored by GLAAD in the past, will be presenting the award to Jackson. Past recipients of the Vanguard Award include Charlize Theron, Elizabeth Taylor, Liza Minnelli and Whoopi Goldberg.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - On the surface, things may seem relatively normal for Jamie Lynn Spears, but family insiders are telling a different story. According to Life & Style Weekly, Jamie and Lynne Spears aren't thrilled about Jamie Lynn marrying her 18 year old boyfriend Casey Aldridge; in fact, an insider tells the magazine that Jamie Lynn's parents think that "if she gets married, she’ll just be compounding one mistake with another.”

In Touch Weekly is reporting that if the teens do go ahead and get married, Lynne Spears is adamant about Casey signing a prenuptial contract in order to protect Jamie Lynn’s financial assets. Sources close the the Spears family report that Lynne is "not sure marriage is a good idea, but she’ll go along with that if that’s what Jamie Lynn wants." Jamie Spears on the other hand, is going to be harder for Jamie Lynn to convince - after all, he watched Britney's marriage unravel, and the divorce and subsequent custody battle "caused the family nothing but grief,” says the source.

Why is it so important to get her parents blessing? Since Jamie Lynn is not yet 18, she is required to get her parents' consent to be legally married. Jamie Lynn turns 17 this Friday, but as far as the law is concerned she is still under her parents control. Sources close to the family say that Jamie Lynn's only hope at this point is her mother. Apparently Lynne "can be a real pushover when it comes to her kids" - which means Jamie Lynn might just get her fairytale wedding after all.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Supermodel Naomi Campbell was arrested at Heathrow Airport in London today after she was handcuffed on an aircraft and removed from the plane, according to Sky News.

She is being held on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

Sky reports that an airport spokesperson said, "I can confirm that a passenger on board a British Airways flight was removed by police."

The British news outlet also says passengers on the flight complained Campbell was "aggressive and abusive to staff." The Sun reports that Campbell became angry when one of her three carry-on bags went missing.

The supermodel is known for her temper; she was charged with assault when she allegedly hit her housekeeper with a cell phone back in March of 2006. She completed community service at the Department of Sanitation in New York City as part of her punishment for the alleged act.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady and his girlfriend, supermodel Gisele Bundchen arrived in Los Angeles earlier this week and the couple spent some time with John, Brady's son with actress Bridget Moynahan. Bundchen was spotted cuddling with baby John in the couple's front yard, while Moynahan was not present during the visit.

Bundchen had a photo shoot in Malibu with famed photographer Mario Testino on Tuesday, while Brady took advantage of his time on the West Coast and spent it with his one year-old son.

Brady and Bundchen headed back to New York on Wednesday afternoon.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A guest attending a party at actress Kate Bosworth's home on Saturday, March 29 tells X17online that Bosworth's dog attacked her 21 co-star, Aaron Yoo, over the weekend.

The source says the dog bit Yoo's face and that he was sent to the hospital for treatment, including sutures to the wound.

Neither Bosworth's nor Yoo's representatives have replied to our requests for comment.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Actress Anne Hathaway's boyfriend, property developer Raffaelo Follieri, was arrested Thursday afternoon around 2:15PM and charged with issuing a bad check, according to Detective Brian Sessa of the NYPD.

This isn't the first time Follieri has had legal troubles - last summer, the Wall Street Journal reported that Los Angeles based billionaire Ronald Burkle sued Follieri for "willfully and systematically misappropriating" at least $1.3 million from the Yucaipa Companies, Burkle's private equity firm.

Hathaway and Follieri have been dating for four years. A rep for Hathaway could not be reached for comment.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - After months of keeping quiet regarding charges that he drugged Britney Spears and that he was the main cause of her increasingly erratic behavior, former friend Sam Lutfi issued a statement today through his spokesperson Michael Sands denying the allegations.

Britney's parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears had filed a temporary restraining order against Lutfi on their daughter's behalf on February 1, 2008, and it was Lynne who swore in a declaration that Lutfi was drugging the pop star.

"The allegations and the declaration in the temporary restraining order are untrue and have not been proven," said Lutfi's spokesman Michael Sands.

The next hearing is scheduled for April 16, 2008.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Jamie Lynn Spears celebrated her 17th birthday on Friday, and she kept things low key in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.

First, the pregnant teen went on a shopping trip to Walmart, and later that evening, boyfriend Casey Aldridge treated her to dinner at Ruby Tuesday.

Spears is due to give birth around mid-July.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - On October 31, 2007, Lane Garrison was sentenced to forty months in state prison for vehicular manslaughter, but E! Online is reporting that due to good behavior, Garrison may only have to serve twenty months of his sentence.

According to an insider, the actor has been spending his time reading, writing, and playing basketball. The Prison Break star wrote a letter to Access Hollywood back in February, telling the show how he watched the season premiere of his show with fellow inmates. “It felt like an out of body experience as I stood around a crowd of tattooed felons watching Michael Scofield try to escape," he said. "All of us longing to be free as well!”

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Academy Award winning actor Charlton Heston passed away on Saturday evening at the age of 84. Heston died at his Beverly Hills home with his wife Lydia by his side, his family said in a statement released on Saturday.

Heston starred in films such as Ben Hur (which earned him the Oscar for Best Actor in 1959), Planet of the Apes, The 10 Commandments and Earthquake among others. He was the president of the National Rifle Association (NRA) from 1998 to 2003, and his stance on gun control certainly earned him his fair share of press as well.

His family also said in the statement:

“To his loving friends, colleagues and fans, we appreciate your heartfelt prayers and support... We knew him as an adoring husband, a kind and devoted father, and a gentle grandfather, with an infectious sense of humor. He served these far greater roles with tremendous faith, courage and dignity. He loved deeply, and he was deeply loved."

A private memorial service will be held for the legendary actor, and in the meantime, his family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Motion Picture and Television Fund.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - After six years of dating, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z (née Shawn Carter) finally tied the knot at Jay-Z's Tribeca apartment on Friday evening.

Earlier in the week, it was reported that the couple had obtained a marriage license, and on Friday, numerous ivory and white decorations were delivered to the apartment complex.

On Friday evening, friends and family of the happy couple began to arrive, including Beyonce's little sister, Solange, Destiny's Child singers Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, Coldplay singer Chris Martin.

R&B star Mary J. Blige broke the news at her concert in Greensboro, North Carolina on Saturday night. The singer gave the happy couple her congratulations and even dedicated her song "You're All I Need" to the newlyweds, according to the NY Daily News.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Actress Jessica Alba and her fiance, Cash Warren threw a baby shower on Sunday at the Ever After Teahouse in Studio City, California.

Guests included Kim Kardashian and Rashida Jones, and the expectant mom received a mountain of gifts from both friends and family. The teahouse was decorated in purple and white flowers and balloons, and there was even a collage of baby pictures of Alba and Warren inside. A source told X17 that Alba, who was sporting a loose black tunic, announced to her guests that she is due in June and that she is expecting a girl.

Alba first announced her pregnancy in early December, and just a few weeks after that she announced her engagement to Warren.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - After six months, an inquest jury in Britain has ruled that Diana, the Princess of Wales and Dodi Al Fayed's death in 1997 was due to the "grossly negligent" driving of her chaffeur, Henri Paul, as well as the numerous paparazzi who were following the car on that tragic night.

According to the Daily Mail, the jury also noted that Paul's judgement was impaired because he had been drinking alcohol earlier in the evening, and "the fact Diana and Dodi were not wearing seat belts contributed to their deaths."

Initially, seven paparazzi were arrested after the crash, but they were eventually cleared by French investigators. The pictures the paparazzi had taken in the moments before the crash and after Diana died were shown to the jury during the trial.

The jury ruled that Diana and Dodi were "unlawfully killed", which is a stronger ruling than the previous "tragic accident" conclusion made by Lord Stevens in 2006. The jury also rejected any conspiracy theories, such as those proposed by Mohamed Al Fayed, that MI6 and the Duke of Edinburgh had plotted to murder the couple through the crash.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - American Idol fans got quite the surprise at Sunday's taping of Idol Gives Back as numerous celebrities showed up, including Brad Pitt, Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood and Robin Williams.

Surprisingly, rising pop star Miley Cyrus wasn't the main attraction - hunky dad Brad Pitt stole the spotlight and "the crowd wouldn't stop screaming," stated a source for Us Weekly.

Last year, Idol Gives Back raised more than $75 million for charities all over the world. This year, they hope to step it up and raise $100 million.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to the LA Times, the same UCLA Medical Center worker who viewed the confidential medical records of Farrah Fawcett last year also viewed the confidential files of 61 others, 32 of which were celebrities and high-profile patients, including California first lady, Maria Shriver.

UCLA said they learned about the employee sneaking into confidential records in May of 2007, and that they terminated their employment that same month. Dr. David Feinberg, chief executive of the UCLA Hospital System, apologized for the incidents and said, "this person should not have been looking at those records."

Several other employees found themselves in hot water for improperly viewing Britney Spears records earlier this year when she spent time at UCLA's Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, and their employment was terminated as well.

Kim Belshe, Secretary of the State's Health and Human Services Agency told the LA Times, "It's not a question of will we take action, it's determining what level of action to take."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Mischa Barton will accept a plea deal in her DUI case, according to a People.com source.

The report says Barton will plead no contest to DUI on Thursday in connection to her December 27 arrest. She'll also be sentenced to a three-month alcohol-education class and will pay a fine of approximately $1700. Her marijuana possession charge will be dropped, according the People, and her driving without a license charge will be reduced to an infraction.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to Entertainment Tonight, David Kim, the man who claims to be Lindsay Lohan's former bodyguard is suing the actress. ET obtained the court papers filed by Kim which claim he is suing Lohan for breach of contract, violation of labor laws, fraud and emotional distress.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Actor Rob Lowe and his wife Sheryl are suing their former nanny for $1,000,000.

In the papers that the couple filed on Monday at the Los Angeles Superior Court, they claim that the woman, who worked for the family for seven years, "made statements in violation of her promise not to and has made false statements about Rob Lowe and his wife, Sheryl Lowe."

The document also states that "the effect of her betrayal reaches far beyond possibly marring the Lowes' image in the public eye, but has already caused a tremendous amount of harm to the entire family."

The couple are suing their former employee for violating their confidentiality agreement, defamation, and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress. Though the court papers do not go into the specifics of what the nanny might have revealed about the Lowes' personal lives, Rob did write an online article yesterday for the Huffington Post in which he shares some more personal thoughts.

In the article, titled Household Betrayal, Rob states that "a former employee is demanding my wife Sheryl and I pay her $1.5 million by the end of the week or she will accuse us both of a vicious laundry list of false terribles." He copied and pasted texts from the former nanny into the article, and even said, "No one intimidates my family...We will defend ourselves with vigor and without fear."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to Fox 5 in Las Vegas, singer Toni Braxton was admitted to St. Rose Dominican Hospital after her show on Monday night at the Flamingo. Hospital officials did state that she is in good condition.

Fox 5 also reports that Braxton, 41, has a heart condition called pericarditis, which is an inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Today Disney Channel Worldwide chief Rich Ross announced that Disney is already working on High School Musical 4. "We are writing High School Musical 4," Ross stated on Tuesday afternoon.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, High School Musical 4 will be staying true to its TV movie format, just like the first one, although Ross said that could change.

The stars of the first two High School Musical installments are currently in Utah filming High School Musical 3, and though most of the cast will be back for round four, Ross said, "Are we going to have all the cast back? Probably not. Will we have some of them? I hope so."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - MTV announced today that actor Mike Myers will be hosting the 2008 MTV Movie Awards. This will be Myers' second time hosting the show, and he's excited to be back.

Myers stated in a press release on Wednesday, "I've spent the last year and a half of my life having the most fun ever working on The Love Guru, and now I'm thrilled to have the chance to work with Judy McGrath, Van Toffler and Mark Burnett.”

Van Toffler, President of MTV Networks Music, Logo and Films Group is just as thrilled to be working with the actor. In the press release he said, “Mike Myers blew us away last time he hosted the MTV Movie Awards with his lord of the dance and over the top musical productions...we're elated to have Mike back as our host."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to Reuters UK, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe will make his Broadway debut this September in a twenty two-week run of Equus. Radcliffe, 18, previously starred in an eight-week run of the play in London where he gained the attention of critics for both his performance and his controversial nude scenes.

Back in September, Radcliffe told Reuters that the idea of acting in New York was "terrifying" and he was nervous because audiences in New York are "even more discerning than in London."

Radcliffe's latest film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be in theaters this November.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Barron Hilton, 19, plead no contest today in a Malibu courthouse to driving under the influence. Hilton was arrested on February 12 in Malibu with a blood alcohol level of .14%. According to a clerk at the courthouse, Hilton was not present, so his attorney Rich Hutton entered the plea on his client's behalf.

Paris Hilton's little brother will be placed on three years probation, and he will attend a 3 month alcohol program where the dangers of drinking and driving are reviewed.

Hilton's arraignment is set for April 14.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to Extra, Sean Penn and Robin Wright asked to have their divorce proceedings dismissed yesterday, and the dismissal was granted. The couple first announced their split in December of 2007, after 11 years of marriage.

Extra also reported that the two were seen at an Eddie Vedder concert in San Francisco last night looking very much like a couple, and Sean even dedicated a song to Robin for her birthday. Penn and Wright have two children together; daughter Dylan Frances, 17, and son Hopper Jack, 14.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online.com) - Singer Ashlee Simpson and her boyfriend, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz are engaged. Simpson broke the news herself on her MySpace blog late last night.

A source tells the magazine that Spears "went online and donated after getting [her dad] Jamie's permission...she used her Amex.” The singer was quite moved by the show - the source stated that Spears "watched the show and cried for like two hours."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Mischa Barton plead no contest today to DUI charges stemming from her December 27 arrest and as a result, the actress was put on three years' probation.

The Los Angeles County Superior Court confirmed that Barton, 22, is also required to attend a three month alcohol education program. Additionally, Barton was fined approximately $1600 and as a part of her plea; the marijuana possession charges were dropped.

Barton, who is best known for her role as Marissa on The OC, was not present at the hearing.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to the National Enquirer, fellow actors Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz are engaged. Bardem, 39, proposed to Cruz, 33, during a recent trip to Nice, France, and the couple is secretly planning a wedding for later this year.

An insider revealed to the magazine that Javier's mother, Pilar was the "driving force behind the proposal," and she reportedly told her son, "What's the matter with you? She's perfect! You love her, she loves you. Get married!"

Bardem and Cruz first met on the set of Jamon Jamon in 1992, but didn't start dating until the summer of 2007 when they worked on the Woody Allen film Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Rapper/singer Vanilla Ice (née Robert Van Winkle) was arrested last night for domestic battery in Palm Beach County, Florida, and was released from jail this morning, according to the Palm Beach County Sherriff's Office.

Authorities arrived at Van Winkle's home in Wellington, Florida after his wife Laura Van Winkle called 911, claiming that he had kicked and struck her. She later denied being kicked and struck and instead stated that she was only pushed.

This isn't the first time Van Winkle, 39, has been arrested; back in 2001, he spent a night in jail following another domestic dispute.

Van Winkle is best known for his 1990 hit single, "Ice Ice Baby."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to Parade magazine's annual report, "What People Earn," media mogul Oprah Winfrey leads the pack of celebrity salaries by having earned a whopping $260 million in 2007.

Oprah's pal, Dr. Phil McGraw wasn't too far behind her with $90 million, while Steven Spielberg took in around $110 million last year. In the world of sports, golf superstar Tiger Woods made $115 million, while New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning earned around $11.5 million.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to the PalmBeachPost.com, Ivana Trump, 59, and her Italian actor boyfriend, Rossano Rubicondi, 35, are set to tie the knot tomorrow in Palm Beach at Mar-a-Lago.

A nine foot tall wedding cake was ordered and will be shipped from Germany, and there will be 25 bridesmaids and groomsmen. Ivana's daughter Ivanka will be the maid of honor, and sons Donald Jr. and Eric, will give her away. Celebrities rumored to attend Saturday's festivities include Liza Minnelli, Diana Ross and Natalie Cole. "It's going to be extraordinary," said Ivana's publicist, Catherine Saxton.

After a bidding war between magazines and photo agencies, Getty Images bought the rights to the wedding photos for a quarter of a million dollars.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Britney Spears was involved in a car accident this weekend, in which she rear ended another vehicle.

The California Highway Patrol released a statement that on Saturday, April 12 at 8:18 PM CHP officers responded to a property damage only collision on the US 101 freeway. Spears was in stop-and-go traffic driving her white 2008 Mercedes when she rear ended a 2006 Nissan. The Nissan then pushed forward into another vehicle. There were no injuries reported, and Spears was wearing her seatbelt.

The New York Post reports that there is a Marilyn Monroe sex tape, and Keya Morgan, a well-known memorabilia collector confirms that the tape was "just sold to a New York businessman for $1.5 million." Morgan was the one who discovered the film and brokered its purchase, and he has also seen the footage.

In the 15 minutes of silent, black and white 16mm film footage, the late Monroe allegedly performs oral sex on an unidentified man who's face is just out of the frame. Morgan told the New York post, "You see instantly that it's Marilyn Monroe - she has the famous mole." Morgan also says that the businessman who purchased the film is "just going to lock it up," and he is "not going to sell it, out of respect."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett gave birth to her third child in her native Australia yesterday (April 13, 2008). Ignatius Marton Upton is the third son for Blanchett and her husband Andrew Upton.

A spokesperson for the Sydney Theatre Company, where Blanchett and Upton are co-directors, confirmed the birth saying that both mother and baby "are doing well."

Ignatius Martin weighed in at just under 8 lbs. His two brothers are Dashiell, 6, and Roman, 3.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to OK! Magazine and Us Weekly, Ashlee Simpson, 23, is pregnant with her rocker boyfriend Pete Wentz's baby.

Simpson and Wentz, 28, announced their engagement Wednesday (April 9, 2008).

"We are thrilled to confirm their engagement and congratulate this happy couple," Rhett Usry told X17online. "Beyond that there is nothing to say."

Wentz, of the alternative band Fall Out Boy, have been dating since 2006.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Ivana Trump, 59, and her Italian actor boyfriend, Rossano Rubicondi, 35, tied the knot on Saturday in Palm Beach, Florida at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump wore a pastel pink wedding gown that was adorned with crystals, while Rubicondi wore a white tux. The groomsmen also wore white, while the bridesmaids opted for pastel blue, aqua, purple and yellow dresses. Ivana's daughter Ivanka, who was also the maid of honor wore a strapless yellow dress.

There were approximately 500 guests, including Ivana's ex, real estate tycoon Donald Trump.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Richie Sambora is facing misdemeanor DUI and child endangerment charges stemming from his March 25 arrest, according to Entertainment Tonight. Police confirmed that that they have recommended both charges for the 48 year old musician.

No formal charges have been announced yet, and Sambora's court date has been scheduled for May 7, 2008.

On March 25, Sambora was pulled over after being spotted weaving across several lanes on the Pacific Coast Highwau in his black hummer. When the officer approached the vehicle, he smelled alcohol and after several field sobriety tests, the cops turned Richie's car over to his female passenger and arrested the rocker for driving under the influence.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Country singer Taylor Swift won the Video of the Year award at last night's Country Music Television Awards in Nashville for Our Song, a piece she wrote when she was in high school. The always-endearing Taylor was barefoot through most of the show.

Miley Cyrus and her dad Billy Ray hosted the show, an awards events dedicated to recognizing country music videos.

Other winners included former American Idol star Kellie Pickler who picked up three awards for her I Wonder video; Trace Adkins won for best male video for I Got My Game On; and LeAnn Rimes and Bon Jovi won best collaborative video for 'Till We Ain't Strangers Anymore.

CMT is donating $2500 to each winner's favorite charity as part of CMT One Country, an organization that gives back to the community through philanthropy, civic participation and volunteerism.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Rob Lowe's former nanny, Jessica Gibson filed a lawsuit on Monday claiming that Lowe exposed himself to her on numerous occasions and touched her inappropriately.

Today, Gibson and her attorney, Gloria Allred appeared on The Today Show and spoke with Meredith Vieira. When asked why she continued to work for the Lowes, Gibson replied, "I love the children, and I needed the job. I thought it would get better, and I was scared." Additionally, she said that she never had tried to blackmail the family, and that the family still owed her money. Allred said that the Lowes tried to "hide behind" their confidentiality agreement with Gibson, and they were using that as a reason not to pay her.

Lowe's lawyer Larry Stein gave the following statement to The Today Show:

"Ms. Gibson's older sister worked for the Lowes for seven years. Ms. Gibson worked for the Lowes on and off for seven years. She left at least two times, to pursue other jobs, and returned each time asking for more hours. She sent two emails the day after she left, both saying she loved the Lowes and her leaving had nothing to do with them, but her heart wasn't into being a nanny anymore. This is totally inconsistent with her latest allegations. An investigation of dozens of present and former employees has failed to find one single person to verify her allegations. The allegations in the complaint are simply untrue."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Britney Spears was seen with her former manager Larry Rudolph yesterday for the first time in more than a year.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Current and former employees of Rob Lowe have come to his defense regarding the sexual harassment claims made by his former nanny, Jessica Gibson.

People.com obtained a written statement from Carol Andrade, Lowe's estate manager, defending Lowe. She said, "Jessica never told me that Rob ever said or did anything that she found inappropriate or offensive or that made her feel uncomfortable or made sexual advances toward her." Andrade said she has supervised nannies, chefs, drivers and housekeepers for Lowe and his wife Sheryl for the past year and a half.

Jennifer Dynof, the president of Lowe Profile, a company owned by Lowe, is another employee who is sticking up for the actor. "In the past four years working for Rob, I have never seen him make any sexual advances toward any other woman or act inappropriately, offensively or disrespectfully toward any woman," Dynof told People.com.

Both Andrade and Dynof said they would testify in court if need be.

On Monday April 14, Gibson filed a lawsuit against Lowe and his wife Sheryl claiming the 44 year old actor exposed himself on numerous occasions and inappropriately touched her. She claimed that his wife harassed her as well, and that the family owes her money.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Britney Spears' legal team is scheduled to be back in court tomorrow for a hearing regarding the temporary restraining order against Sam Lutfi. Britney's parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears filed the temporary restraining order against Lutfi on their daughter's behalf on February 1, 2008, and that is set to expire tomorrow. That was also when Lynne Spears swore in a written declaration that Lutfi was drugging her daughter, among other allegations.

On April 4, Sam Lutfi issued a statement through his spokesperson Michael Sands denying the allegations.

Spears' legal team is also due back in court on Thursday April 17th for a hearing regarding her trust, assets and conservatorship. Back on March 6, a Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner ruled that as her conservator, Jamie Spears would be paid $2,500 a week, until Spears' conservatorship ends on July 31, 2008.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to The Hollywood Reporter, High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale is in talks with United Artists to star in a remake of the 1989 film Teen Witch.

The 22 year old actress is also in negotiations with FremantleMedia North America for a one-year first-look producing deal where she would be executive producing an untitled show based on her life for Disney Channel. The show would be geared towards the High School Musical tween crowd with whom Tisdale has a large fan base.

Tisdale is currently in Utah shooting High School Musical 3, which will be released later this year, and she is also working on her second CD.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Ashlee Simpson called in to Ryan Seacrest's radio show on KIIS FM this morning and she discussed her upcoming album release and the details of her engagement to Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, but she continued to side-step the pregnancy rumors.

Simpson, 23, said she was in love with Wentz when she was making her new album, and even said, "I didnt know that I'd be getting married right now...I'm a lucky girl!" When Seacrest asked how Wentz proposed, Simpson responded that it was a secret but that he was "thoughtful and he did a great job." Seacrest also asked about Simpson's beautiful engagement ring, to which she replied, "its definitely a big diamond...oh my god, I can't believe this is on my hand!"

Simpsons parents, Tina and Joe approve of her fiance - Ashlee told Seacrest, "My mom loves Pete, so does my dad."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Britney Spears did not appear in court today for a hearing regarding her trust and legal fees; however, her father Jamie Spears' lawyers, Geraldine Wyle and Andrew Wallet (who is also a co-conservator) were both present at the Los Angeles Superior Court this afternoon. Additionally, Clark Byam, another Spears family lawyer, was present.

The attorneys met behind closed doors, and commissioner Reva Goetz determined how much money Spears owed them for their legal work. Samuel Ingham will be given $10,000 per week until July 31, Andrew Wallet will receive $100,000 to cover previous legal work up until March 31, and Geraldine Wyle will receive an $175,000 advance today to cover legal fees up until March 31. Clark Byam is getting an advance of $22,500, and Stacey Phillips, the lawyer dealing with Spears' custody issues, will receive $75,000.

Additionally, Reva Goetz acknowledged a petition that was filed on March 17 by Jon Eardley, who claims to represent Spears. The document challenges Spears' legal represenation, and Goetz announced that the petition was stricken. Samuel Ingham, who was appointed by the court to represent Spears, will continue to do so.

The next court date is scheduled for May 29, 2008.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to Variety, Oscar winning actress and new mother Halle Berry will star in and produce the psychological thriller Frankie and Alice for the Toronto based company Access Motion Pictures.

The film is about a young woman battling multiple personality disorder who is torn between who she is and a racist Caucasian alter-ego. No production start date has been set.

Berry, 41, gave birth to her daughter, Nahla Ariela Aubry on March 16.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Actress Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James were hit by a drunk driver in Gloucester, Massachusetts, and Bullock's publicist just released the following statement to X17: "Sandra Bullock and Jesse James were in a car accident on Friday night. They are fine."

According to the Boston Herald, at 11 PM on April 18, the couple was being driven to their hotel in Eastern Point when a gray Subaru station wagon crossed lanes on East Main Street and smashed into the front of their vehicle, according to police. Bullock, 43, and James, who turned 39 on Saturday, were in a black SUV driven by Mark Hussey, 54, of Londonderry, New Hampshire.

The driver of the Subaru, identified as Lucille P. Gatchell, 64, from Gloucester, was given a field sobriety test and blew an alcohol level two and a half times over the legal limit. She was arrested on the scene for operating under the influence of alcohol and for a marked lanes violation, and she is due in Gloucester District Court on Tuesday morning.

When Gloucester police officer Kevin Mackey told Gatchell that she had hit the actress, “She was almost giggling and laughing. She said, 'My first drunk driving and I hit Sandra Bullock.’ ”

Immediately after the accident Mackey said the couple was "sort of hugging each other on the sidewalk,” said Mackey. “Ms. Bullock was consoling him.” Bullock “was very concerned about the lady in the other car," and asked several times if Gatchell was ok.

Bullock is currently shooting The Proposal in Cape Ann, Massachusetts.

The Beckhams booked the entire restaurant for the party, and their A-list guests started arriving around 7:30 PM. Inside the swanky eatery, everyone was making toasts and listening to rap music, such as Tupac and Notorious B.I.G.

Elton John left at 11 PM, but not before singing Happy Birthday to Victoria. Everyone else left around midnight, and when the Cruises walked out the door, Katie got her one of her Christian Louboutin heels stuck in a metal street grate! That didn't seem to put a damper on the evening - everyone looked like they had a fantastic time.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A memorial service for Cameron Diaz's late father, Emilio was held in Seal Beach, California on Sunday, April 20, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Two of Diaz's former boyfriends, John Mayer and Justin Timberlake were there to offer their condolences to the actress, who lost her father last week. Tropical flowers were unloaded from a van and brought inside prior to the service, and the guests began to arrive around noon, some wearing leis and Hawaiian clothing.

Emilio Diaz, 58, passed away last Tuesday, April 15 from pneumonia. Cameron released the following statement last week: "My mom, sister and I are deeply appreciative of the overwhelming outpouring of love and support during this difficult time for us and all of our family. My dad was loved by so many people and his humor and spirit will always live on in our hearts."

In lieu of flowers, the Diaz family asked that donations be made in Emilio's name on Surfrider.org or Reefcheck.org.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Lindsay Lohan's younger sister Ali Lohan will take on her first feature film role this year in Mostly Ghostly, according to People.com.

The 14 year-old will play a high school senior in the upcoming film based on R. L. Stine's book series Mostly Ghostly. The plot revolves around an 11 year-old boy who makes friends with ghosts. The film is set for release later this year.

In addition to her big screen project, the teen is currently shooting Living Lohan, a reality show based on the famous family's pursuit of stardom for the E! cable network, and she is recording an album.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Orange County prosecutors have charged musician Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs today, stemming from his arrest on March 25.

Sambora, 48, was caught swerving while driving in Laguna Beach with his daughter, another minor, and a an adult woman. He was not charged with child endangerment, as reports had speculated that he might be.

Sambora's hearing is scheduled for May 7; he is not required to appear.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Actress Nicole Kidman says motherhood has motivated her to work as a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador in the global fight to stop violence against women, according to Reuters.

“I’m a mother, I have a child on the way, I have two children in the world and a lot of (my motivation) is about realizing the things that are wrong and how can I contribute,” she said at a recent news conference. Kidman is currently seven months with her first child with husband Keith Urban, and she has two children from her previous marriage with Tom Cruise, Connor, 13, and Isabella, 15.

“What are the things I can contribute to help my children have a better life and help other children around the world have a better life and other citizens of the world have a better life,” she said. Kidman is an ambassador for the U.N. Development Fund for Women and on Tuesday the actress helped launch a Web site petition at U.N. headquarters in New York as part of a campaign to “Say No to Violence against Women.”

On his official website, Rodriguez said, "We are thrilled with the birth of our second daughter and the blessing of having two beautiful, healthy daughters in our lives."

The couple celebrated the birth of a 7-pound, 2-ounce girl in Miami late Monday night, and also on his website it was revealed that the baseball star will not be in the Yankees lineup on Tuesday or Wednesday, "as he spends time with his now expanded family. He is expected to rejoin the team Thursday in Chicago."

Rodriguez was in New York on Monday, receiving physical therapy for his injured leg, but he made it to Miami just in time for the birth of his second daughter. The Rodriguez's have another daughter, Natasha, age 3.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Star Jones, 46, has filed for divorce from her husband of three and a half years, Al Reynolds, 39, according to Entertainment Tonight. The papers were filed on March 26 at the New York Supreme Court in Manhattan. Jones will be represented by divorce attorney Stanford Lotwin, who has worked with other high profile clients such as Donald Trump and Diana Ross.

In a statement released to ET Jones says: "Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The Foo Fighters took home the Album of the Year Award at the NME Awards USA last night (April 23), while The Killers were named Band of the Year.

It was the first time the UK-based magazine New Musical Express hosted their awards program in the US after nearly five decades of giving out prizes in England.

The crowd inside the historic El Rey Theatre included presenters Sienna Miller, Agyness Deyn, Kelly Osbourne, and Danny Masterson, as well as Mark Ronson, Eli Roth, and Pete Wentz. Jane's Addiction, The Lemonheads and Mick Jones all performed at the show.

Though Fall Out Boy didn't take home any awards, bassist and singer Wentz got something just as special. "I just met Alice Cooper and he knew my name!" Wentz told NME staff. "I can't believe he knew my name!" Wentz then jokingly added: "I think someone whispered it to him beforehand."

As the celebration ended at the El Rey Theatre, the stars continued to party the night away at underground Hollywood hotspot 86.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Carmen Electra, 36, got engaged to her boyfriend, guitarist Rob Patterson, 37, over the weekend. Electra's publicist just confirmed the news to X17.

As far as the engagement ring, an insider for People.com says, "The ring is a black diamond set in white diamonds."

Patterson and Electra have been dating for less than a year, and Patterson popped the question over the weekend while they were in Las Vegas celebrating her 36th birthday.

This will be the third marriage for Electra, who was previously married to musician Dave Navarro. Prior to that, Electra was briefly married to NBA star Dennis Rodman.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A Florida judge sentenced Wesley Snipes to three years in jail for tax fraud today.

Snipes' attorney filed written testimonials from a few of Snipes' A-list friends - Denzel Washington, Woody Harrelson, and TV's Judge Joe Brown - to no avail.

In February, Snipes was convicted of three misdemeanor counts of failing to file a tax return. Today he was acquitted of felony tax fraud and conspiracy charges that carry a jail term of sixteen years.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Actor Tom Cruise will return to The Oprah Winfrey Show according to the Associated Press.

In May of 2005, Cruise became the butt of numerous jokes after he appeared on Oprah and he repeatedly jumped on the talk-show host’s couch, saying his love for then-new girlfriend Katie Holmes was “beyond cool.”

The two-part show will coincide with the 25th anniversary of Cruise’s breakout role in the film Risky Business. Friends and colleagues will surprise Cruise with taped messages honoring his work in movies, according to a statement Thursday from Harpo Productions.

For the first show on May 2, Winfrey will interview Cruise from his Telluride, Colorado home, and the interview will cover his “family, his life and the future,” Harpo stated. On May 5, Cruise will appear in Winfrey’s Chicago studio.

Cruise and Holmes became parents in April 2006 with the birth of their daughter, Suri, and married in Italy in November 2006.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse has been arrested on suspicion of one count of assault. Today London's Metropolitan police confirmed they arrested a 24 year old woman on suspicion of assault, and she is being held at Central London Station, but are not naming her.

According to the Associated Press, Winehouse appeared at a police station earlier this week to answer questions relating to an "alleged incident" in the north London neighborhood of Camden, the Outside Organization said in a statement. Various tabloid newspapers reported that early Wednesday morning Winehouse allegedly hit a man at a local bar and then head-butted another who was trying to hail her a cab.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Hannah Montana's Miley Cyrus is apologizing to fans for appearing in photos for the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair in which she appears to be topless.

The 15 year-old Disney Channel star told Entertainment Tonight she was "embarrassed" by the pix: "I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed."

The photos were shot by Annie Leibovitz and they show Miley with white blanket wrapped around her torso.

As ET report, when Vanity Fair's Bruce Handy interviewed the singer/actress in May, she thought the spread was "perfectly fine." But a Disney spokesperson said, "Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Supermodel Angie Everhart was arrested in Los Angeles for suspicion of driving under the influence at 2 AM on Thursday, April 24. She was stopped near the corner of Wilshire and Alexandria, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Everhart, 38, was held on (and paid) a $15,000 bond before being released. She's due back in court on May 15, 2008.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Britney Spears will return to the CBS hit How I Met Your Mother for an episode slated to air May 12, a rep for the show confirmed to X17.

Executive producer Craig Thomas said, "We're all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again." Production on the episode begins today, and Britney will be reprising her role as Abby, a receptionist for a dermatologist's office.

In the episode “Everything Must Go,” Barney (played by Neil Patrick Harris) and Abby realize that they have one thing in common, their mutual hatred of Ted. The new “couple” decides to go to the bar to flaunt their new relationship in Ted’s face. Desperate to get a rise out of his former pal, Barney pops a surprising question to Abby.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Amy Poehler and her husband, Will Arnett, are "expecting their first child," their rep Lewis Kay confirmed to X17.

That isn't the only good news for Poehler, 36. Baby Mama, Poehler's movie with Saturday Night Live co-star Tina Fey, snagged the number one spot at the box-office this past weekend. Poehler plays a surrogate mother in the film.

The couple have been married since 2003, and the baby is due in late fall.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A child custody evaluation report on Britney Spears' parenting skills has been completed by the court, according to E! Online.

The report was commissioned by the Los Angeles family court during the legal custody battle between Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

No details of the report have yet been released and neither Spears' nor Federlines' attorneys would comment; but details of the report will likely be made public on May 6, when both parties' lawyers are set to meet to discuss modified custody. Various reports say the Spears may actually attend this hearing.

After two rounds of extensive chemotherapy, the Charlie's Angels beauty - who's been battling the vicious disease since late 2006 - is now looking better than ever and, apparently, feeling better than she has in quite a while.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to Variety, Warner Bros. has just unveiled TheWB.com, a website that will feature hit shows such as Smallville and One Tree Hill, which originally aired on the former WB.

The OC and Gossip Girl creator Josh Schwartz and Laguna Beach producer Gary Auerbach are working on original content for the site, and it is expected to go fully live by August.

Bruce Rosenblum, president of Warner Bros. TV group stated, "We are taking this very seriously...this is an important part of where we see television going."

The group is also launching KidsWB.com, with classic Looney Tunes segments and its own original shortform cartoons, as well as games.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - CSI actor Gary Dourdan (whose full legal name is Robert Gary Durdin), 41, was arrested on Monday in Palm Springs, California for possession of cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, miscellaneous prescription drugs, and paraphernalia.

The Palm Springs Police Department released the following statement:

"On Monday, April 28 at approximately 5:12 AM, a Palm Springs patrol officer saw an occupied vehicle parked on the wrong side of the street on Sunny Dunes Road west of Gene Autry Trail. According to police reports, the interior light was on and it appeared as if the occupant of the vehicle in the driver's seat was sleeping. The officer approached the vehicle and made contact with the occupant. He was identified by his California driver's license as 41-year-old Robert Gary Durdin of Venice, CA. The officer described Durdin as disoriented and possibly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The officer subsequently located suspected cocaine, heroin, ecstacy, miscellaneous prescription drugs, and paraphernalia. Durdin was placed under arrest and booked at the Palm Springs Jail for Possession of Narcotics and Possession of Dangerous Drugs. After booking, he was released on $5,000 bail at approximately 10:30 AM on Monday."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have temporarily relocated to the south of France in preparation for the impending birth of their twins.

E! Online reports the super-couple arrived at the Nice airport last night (Monday, April 29) by private jet with their four children, two nannies, and three security guards. They are staying at Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's Villa Maryland in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat.

Pitt and Jolie plan to give birth in France, reportedly at a Marseille hospital yet to be determined. The couple organized the birth of their first biological child, Shiloh, in Namibia in 2006.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Actor Mario Lopez and professional dancer Karina Smirnoff have split up, a source tells X17.

Lopez, 34, and Smirnoff, 30, met on the third season of Dancing With The Stars, and were living together at Lopez's Los Angeles home until Smirnoff decided to move out.

X17 can reveal exclusively that it was Smirnoff who broke off the relationship when she began to suspect that Mario had developed a wandering eye.

A source tells X17 that Smirnoff was upset after seeing a picture of Lopez flirting with a Hooters waitress, but the last straw came when she learned that Mario was partying in New York City last weekend with Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie-Ann Inaba.

Lopez is currently starring in A Chorus Line on Broadway, while Smirnoff is competing on the sixth season of Dancing With The Stars.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The Smoking Gun reports that Lawanda Jackson, 49, a former employee of the UCLA Medical Center was indicted today for allegedly accessing confidential medical records of numerous celebrity patients and selling them to a "national media outlet," according to a federal indictment.

The United States District Court indictment states that a media outlet paid Jackson at least $4600 for the private information. The indictment does not state which media outlet it was, though it is widely suspected that the National Enquirer was paying for the medical information, according to the Smoking Gun. The indictment doesn't reveal which celebrities had their confidentiality breached, though The Los Angeles Times reported that Jackson allegedly reviewed the records of 33 well-known patients, including actress Farrah Fawcett and Maria Shriver, wife of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Jackson was charged with obtaining the private information between 2006 and May 21, 2007, the date which she was terminated from her position as an administrative specialist at the UCLA Medical Center. If convicted of a felony charge of illegally obtaining individually identifiable health information for commercial advantage, Jackson faces a maximum of 10 years in prison.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Canadian-born actress Pamela Anderson, 40, confirmed on her blog today that she has been fully naturalized as a citizen of the United States.

The former Baywatch star and PETA representative was recently in Washington D.C. to help lobby against animal testing. "Being a citizen excites me not just because I can vote, but because I can crack the whip on Capitol Hill to defend animals," Anderson wrote on her official blog.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Life & Style reports that Jamie Lynn Spears is expecting a girl, and a Spears family insider reveals that the baby is due on June 29.

A source tells the magazine that Jamie Lynn is eagerly preparing for the arrival of her baby girl. “She has been buying tons of clothes and is going to do the nursery in white, black and yellow,” said a Spears family insider.

“I heard Lynne talking about Jamie Lynn’s baby,” said a source. “She said Jamie Lynn and the baby’s dad [Casey Aldridge] were so excited when they found out it’s a girl.” No word on a name yet, though “Lynne said Jamie Lynn made a list of all the girl family names on both sides of the family and is trying to incorporate one of them as the middle name,” said the source, who also overheard that “Lynne’s flattered to hear her name is being considered.”

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Kate Hudson graces the cover of People's 19th annual special issue featuring the "100 Most Beautiful" stars of 2008.

In an exclusive sit down interview, Hudson tells the magazine about her beauty secrets, her relationship with Owen Wilson ("It's personal."), her ex husband Chris Robinson, and answers the burning question about why son Ryder's hair is so long. "Why is it so weird? My son likes his hair. He likes his hair long because it's like his father's," she tells the magazine. Hudson also opens up about how she shed nearly 70lbs after giving birth to Ryder, and how she quit smoking, "I quit New Years, cold turkey. I'm so happy."

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to Life & Style, Tom Cruise is reuniting with Sumner Redstone, CEO of Viacom (which owns Paramount Pictures). Redstone is the mastermind behind the Mission: Impossible franchise and it looks as though the media mogul and Cruise are back on good terms.

The two met up at the Beverly Hills Hotel on March 27, almost two years after Redstone dropped Cruise's production company, Cruise/Wagner Productions. An insider tells the magazine, “Tom will make Mission Impossible 4 once Paramount greenlights the script...there will most definitely be another Mission: Impossible!”

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - According to Fox News, Lindsay Lohan is currently recording her third album. Inside sources reveal that Lohan has cut a track with rapper Snoop Dogg that sounds "amazing." Universal Music Group is bringing artists such as Timbaland and Pharrell on board to help make a hit record for the 21 year old star.

Lindsay’s younger sister, Ali, 14, is looking to follow in her sister's footsteps, as she is in the studio recording her own album for another branch of UMG, Jimmy Lovine’s Interscope via Maloof Music. Maloof Music is owned by the Maloof Brothers who own the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Mariah Carey, 38, and Nick Cannon, 27, are engaged, a source close to Mariah confirmed to Access Hollywood today.

Rumors began to swirl that the couple were engaged Carey was spotted with a large diamond on her ring finger at the after party for her Tribeca film, “Tennessee,” in New York. X17 contacted reps for both Carey and Cannon, but calls were not immediately returned.

This will be the first marriage for Cannon, and the second for Mariah, who was previously married to record exec Tommy Mottola from 1993 to 1998.
