Indiana Jones Has Second Largest Memorial Day Movie Opening Ever

Movies HFord051908_01.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull took the number one spot at the box office and had the second biggest Memorial Day movie opening ever, according to studio estimates on Sunday.

The fourth installment of the Indiana Jones franchise took in an estimated $126 million, which is the biggest debut for a film in 2008. Additionally, after just four days in theaters, the film already holds the number three spot for total 2008 box office earnings, behind Iron Man (number one) and Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who! (number two).
