Movies sorkinmovie.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - West Wing and Studio 60 writer Aaron Sorkin is currently in negotiations to write an untitled film about the founders of Facebook, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sorkin broke the news when he created his own Facebook group last week. On the page he writes, "I've just agreed to write a movie for Sony and producer Scott Rudin about how Facebook was invented. I figured a good first step in my preparation would be finding out what Facebook is, so I've started this page." Sorkin even asks group members to share their own Facebook stories.

Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg and his Harvard roommates, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes. Initially, only Harvard students could join, but the networking site quickly expanded to all Ivy League schools and then all universities in the United States. The next step was adding all high schools in the U.S. and Canada, and now over 100 million people all over the globe are members.
