X17 XCLUSIVE - Simon Cowell Thinks Ellen Degeneres Will Be A Tougher Judge Than Him On Idol!

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Simon Cowell told X17online that he expects Ellen Degeneres to be a tougher judge than him when she joins Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara Dioguardi as the fourth judge on American Idol this season.
X17online caught up with the multi-millionaire leaving his mansion for a quick trip to London, and when we asked him if he thought Ellen make a tougher judge than him, he said "Yes!"
Now, we're sure that's just British sarcasm at work - anyone who caught Ellen's turn as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance last season knows she'll keep Paula's tradition of nurturing the contestants rather than breaking them down like Simon.

I will not watch American Idol as long as Ellen is on. She knows nothing about anything and she is going to bring the ratings down.. Bring Paula back or some one that knows about music.
Was Ellen added because she a GAY and Adam didn't win last season? My wife and I will no longer be fans of American Idol as long as Ellen is your judge!

I Think ellen will good a great job.She loves music and and can tell if someone got it or not.
Ellen probably knows as much about music as Paula did! I think it will be a good change. Paula was not a good judge at all. She cared more about the contestants looks and her own personal drama with Simon Cowell than she did about the contestants performance.
Also, Ellen being gay has no bearing on anything having to do with the show. That comment just proves the ignorance of our population.
