Celebrities Raise Nearly $2 Million For Nashville Flood Victims

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (X17online) - Celebrities participated in an all-star telethon over the weekend in Nashville and raised over $1.7 million for flood victims.

Music City Keep on Playin' - A Benefit for Flood Relief featured the following musicians: Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow and Martina McBride.

Brad Paisley and his wife, actress Kimberly Williams hosted the event which took place at a sold-out Ryman Auditorium.

As for working the telethon, Keith Urban said, "This town has been good to us. We had our little girl Sunday Rose here, and we are going over there [to the call center] to do our part."

Proceeds from the telethon went to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
