pattinsonnew200.jpgMANATTAN, New York (X17online) - Rob Pattinson is opening up about the movie, Eclipse, revealing that it's "really different, kind of serious."

The actor admits that he has seen an early cut of the film. According to Pattinson, "All the kinds of fight scenes that are in 'New Moon,' they're, like, real fights now. They're not, like, fantasy things. It's like a horror film," he tells MTV News.

The film was directed by David Slade, who directed the gory horror movie, 30 Days of Night. Due to "intense sequences of action and violence," Eclipse has been given a PG-13 rating.

Eclipse hits theaters on June 30.
