brand200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Russell Brand is possibly going to be hitting the American airwaves. The British comedian is in talks with Sirius Radio to get his own show, according to The Sun.

The 35-year-old has reportedly been offered millions for the job. Other celebrities who have nabbed deals with Sirius are Eminem, Howard Stern and Jamie Foxx.

"Russell has been itching to get back on radio for a while now. He has been off doing other things but radio still really tickles him. Russell's sidekick Matt Morgan is also keen to get writing and broadcasting again. The Sirius deal is in its infancy but Russell is well up for it. He has been given the hard sell about how they could make him the new Howard Stern," a source tells The Sun.

Brand previously hosted a show on BBC Radio 2, but this would be his first attempt in the U.S.
