VH1 New Reality Show Set In Sunset Strip Saddle Ranch Chop House

LOS ANGELES, California (x17online) - VH1 has ordered a new series set at the Saddle Ranch Chop House located on L.A.'s famed Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, "home of Steaks, Bulls, and Rock N’ Roll". The series will focus on the the restaurants wait-staff and their struggle to "make it" in Hollywood, as well a the wide range of celebrity and tourist clientele that often take their chances on the notorious mechanical bull.

The Saddle Ranch was established in 1999 and has been featured in countless movie and TV shows including Sex And The City, Desperate Housewives, and American Idol. The location originally started out as the Thunder Roadhouse Cafe, opened by Easy Rider's Dennis Hopper & Peter Fonda.

The network has ordered eight to 10 half-hour episodes of Saddle Ranch from Bunim-Murray Productions, which is set to premiere spring 2011.
