LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Paramount, MGM, Universal, Fox, Warner Bros. and Disney have filed a lawsuit against Family Edited DVDS, Inc ... a company that has been altering movies to make them "family friendly."

The studios claim that movies like Prince of Persia, Iron Man 2 and The Hurt Locker have been altered to be free of "objectionable content," and there was never permission granted to do so.

In the lawsuit, the studios claim that this violates their exclusive copyrights and makes them "highly vulnerable to further unauthorized copying and other forms of infringement."

The studios are now requesting permanent injunctive relief.
