Rodriguez, who directed Machete, Grindhouse, Sin City, and the Spy Kids series, will be partnering with OddLot Entertainment and Michael Litvak's Bold Films for this new venture. The deal is for a series of movies, some of which Rodriguez will direct and some he will produce. He will also tap established and up-and-coming filmmakers to take charge of various production projects.

"This new venture allows us to develop, greenlight and produce films from the idea stage through delivery. I look forward to developing and producing films under the banner as well as working with filmmakers that I am inspired by." Rodriquez expressed.

While no future projects have been announced, they are said to be in the action-oriented commercial film genre.

Rodriguez will still operate and make films through his Troublemaker Studios which is currently in production on Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World for Dimension set for an August 2011 release.
