Lambert tweeted that he'll be performing an acoustic version of his song Aftermath. The song will be available on the singer's website immediately after the performance.

The 29-year-old performer says all proceeds from the sale of the song will go to The Trevor Project ... an organization created to prevent suicides amongst the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered teens.

The single is the fourth release off Lambert's For Your Entertainment album.

When asked about Aftermath, Lambert released the following statement:

"[Aftermath] was written about finding the courage to be honest with yourself and the people who love you. It's about facing adversity and taking risks in the name of personal liberation. The song takes on different meanings to different listeners."

Lambert is hoping to release his second album this Fall.
