McDonald's To Launch 'The McDonald's Channel' In Participating Restaurants

NEW YORK, New York (X17online) - McDonaldâ€™s has announced their plan to launch The McDonaldâ€™s Channel in its restaurant locations around the country.
The TV network will air local news, sports, and entertainment features and is expected to reach up to 20 million customers a month.
Original content providers include Mark Burnettâ€™s digital production company Vimby, BBC America, and KABC-TV, with programming like The McDonald's Achievers, which profiles local high school and college athletes; Mighty Moms, which tells the stories of local working mothers; and McDonald's Channel Music News.
Participating restaurants will contain two 42- to 46-inch HD TV screens that will be visible from 70 percent of eating areas.
