Hunger Games Tops Weekend Box Office

hungergamesposter_200.jpgLOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Action-adventure flick The Hunger Games, took in an estimated $33.5 million at the box office this Easter weekend, beating out American Reunion and Titanic 3D.

Since the film's March 23 released, The Hunger Games has grossed $302.9 million domestically.

The fourth installment of the American Pie franchised underperformed at $21.5 million, to put it in second place, which the re-release of 1997's Titanic -- this time in 3D -- brought in $17.3 million.

Wrath of the Titans came in third with $15 million and Julia Roberts' starrer Snow White, Mirror Mirror arrived in fourth, bringing in $11 million.
