The show will feature various celebrities competing in challenges similar to those performed by Navy SEALs and Green Berets. Tenatively titled Stars Earn Stripes, the show is the latest attempt to boost the last place broadcast network. Wolf embarks on a new journey, as he is known for scripted series like Law & Order .

Celebrities from a wide variety of professions will gather at a base and be paired with a trainer, who will help them prepare for the physical and emotional challenges of the competition.

"I think this is a unique opportunity to pay tribute to our troops and first responders who put their lives on the line every day. Mark and I are looking forward to working together as we bring this exciting, dramatic and entertaining competition to viewers," Wolf said in a statement.

Contestants will compete for cash prizes that will be donated to a military charity of their choice. The intention of the show is to shine a light on the US Armed forces. A premiere date has yet to be determined.

This is Burnett's latest venture, as he is also working on The Job, where contestants compete for their dream career. Wolf has the drama pilot Chicago Fire in the works with NBC.

David A. Hurwitz is set to produce along with Wolf and Burnett.
