Curry was let go on Thursday, after one year as Lauer’s co-host, and NBC is still keeping mum on who will officially fill Curry's spot full-time. The show’s introduction, which normally announces the show’s hosts, omitted that feature on Friday.

The change comes after NBC’s morning show has been getting it's most stiff rating competition from ABC’s Good Morning America since the mid-1990s.
