Warner Bros. Makes Donation To Victims Of Theater Shooting

new-line-warner200.jpg LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Following the shooting massacre during a Dark Knight Rises screening in Aurora, Colorado, last Friday, Warner Bros. has donated an undisclosed amount of money to victims of the tragedy.

No official announcement was made by the studio behind the Batman franchise, but WB did disclose that they were collaborating with the Colorado Governor's office and all the donations would be made through givingfirst.org, part of Colorado's Community First foundation.

Additionally, the film's star Christian Bale has paid a visit to the victims at a local hospital, but a rep for WB told the Denver Post, “Mr. Bale is there as himself, not representing Warner Brothers."

Twelve were killed and dozens were injured when gunman James Holmes opened fire during a midnight screening of the flick.
